Charles Petillon's Invasion Device Works

Charles pétillon placed a large number of white inflatable balloons in houses, communities and natural landscapes. The French photographer imagines each photo as a period of time, an emotional experience or the general process of a city's evolution. Their purpose is to change some of our daily views and shift our thinking from actual perception to visual cognition.

Balloon from the dilapidated old wooden house, from between two buildings, from a dilapidated car, white balloons invaded and filled these dilapidated containers, making the picture look particularly beautiful.

Now Charles Pétillon has also brought the installation works of Invasion to MD Gallery in Shanghai.

Do you think the master's works are actually pure white? In fact, they are also very pink ~

The tenth spring

At the lively architecture festival 20 15 held in Montpellier, France in July, artists Margot Rodo and Mika? L Martin and Benoit Tastet collaborated in the courtyard of Hotel De Griffy in France to make an installation work "un dixieme printemps", which was filled with countless pink balloons and inspired by the Japanese cherry blossom viewing tradition. Balloon refers to a short spring, and this work also won the jury award of the Architectural Festival. Hundreds of pink and white balloons rose slowly from the lawn and finally stopped on the grid above the yard. Looking up, the blue sky and white clouds are covered with hazy pink, and the cherry blossom array makes time stand still. The artist expects the audience to feel the beauty of "balloon petals" frozen in the wind at this pause.
