The most glorious background of labor

"Kitten Fishing" was written by Jin Jin, directed by Fang Ming, and photographed by Zou Zhimin and Ge Fangxiong. It was completed in 1952 by the Shanghai Film Art Film Team. The film describes the cat mother taking her daughter Miaomiao and son Mimi to go fishing. Miaomiao concentrates on learning from her mother and catches many fish; while Mimi is playing aside, and the frog hangs something on Mimi's fish. Mimi thought she had caught a big fish, but she found it was a broken straw sandal, and was very angry. Later, Mimi listened to her mother's words, focused on looking at the buoy, and sure enough she caught a big fish.

The film tells children that they must concentrate on learning and doing things in order to succeed. In the early 1950s, this film was used by many primary school students across the country as a required textbook for freshmen. The film theme song "Labor is the Most Glorious" composed by Huang Zhun is deeply loved by children and young people and remains popular for a long time.
