Where is Anhui Anji?
This place is located in the southeast of Anhui Province.
1. Location: Anji County is located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, in the northwest of Zhejiang Province, adjacent to Changxing County of Zhejiang Province, Wuxing District of Huzhou City, Deqing County, Yuhang District of Hangzhou City, Lin 'an District, Ningguo City and Guangde City. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, surrounded by mountains on three sides.
2. Historical background: In the second year of Han Dynasty (185), Anji County was named because of the meaning of "peace and happiness" in the Book of Songs. It is an important activity place of the ancient Yue State, and it is also the seat of the county administration of the ancient Shu County, one of the 36 counties in Qin Dynasty.
