Photo Notes 12- What are the directions of light? What scene is suitable for shooting?

Direction of light:

Guang Shun 1

This is the light used in most photographic works. Under the illumination of external light, the color of the object will be brighter visually.

Objects reflect light from light sources and display their own colors. For example, the blue sky and white clouds grassland, so some people say that "the world has light first, and then colored."

Sometimes it is clear that the sunset and sunrise are yellow, but the sky photographed by mobile phone or camera is white, because you didn't follow the light and didn't see the light reflected from the sky.

2. Side light (45 degrees)

The commonly used methods of portrait photography can more clearly reflect people's true skin color and outline people's faces and body contours. The shadow effect projected on the face and under the bridge of the nose makes people more stereoscopic like photography.

3. Side lights (90 degrees)

Compared with 45-degree side light, 90-degree emphasizes the contrast between light and shade of objects, which is suitable for expressing the texture of objects.

4. Backlighting

The common silhouette shooting is backlight shooting, but backlight shooting often has the effect of fog and lack of transparency, which will form a warm tone. Reducing exposure compensation can eliminate blur.

Judging the direction, intensity and color temperature of light is a good job to do before pressing the shutter, which is helpful to correctly convey the theme of this photo and simplify the picture.
