How long does it take from beginner to senior photographer? Is five years enough? Do you need a degree to be a photographer?

By senior photographer, do you mean professional photographer? Is that you have to support yourself by photography? If you have a master, if you have normal qualifications, you should start as an assistant, master basic photography skills (including retouching) in 2-3 years, then gradually establish your own social, publicity, design and financial abilities, and finally set up your own studio or join a well-known photography agency.

Photographers have no requirements for academic qualifications, just as artists have no requirements for academic qualifications.
