Behind-the-scenes tidbits of Hot Blood University: Professional Fashion Design North Tetsuo Hara designed very fashionable shapes for the characters in the film. He himself is a fan of the original comic book.

Kitahara revealed that the design did not show the specific theme of his personal style, but took the director's requirements and the style of the role as the primary consideration, and designed the most suitable shape in a targeted manner. At the same time, we also pay special attention to the obvious times in costumes, so that audiences of all ages can see the epitome of their youth in the film.

The crew of this film is almost all boys, and everyone has a good relationship. They often go to the barbecue restaurant near the hotel for dinner after filming the day's play. Oguri Shun revealed that he was emotional during filming (possibly influenced by the role) and regarded people who had nothing to do with the film as enemies, so he was indifferent to the reporters who came to interview. Xiao Li specially apologized on the official blog for this.

Hikaru Takahashi, the original author, was full of praise for the film version, expressing his great desire to see the sequel. He also personally went to Osaka where he was filming. He was deeply moved by the enthusiasm of the film crew and the realistic scenery in lily of the valley high school.
