Jupiter's Great Red Spot is a characteristic sign of Jupiter's surface and the largest storm cyclone on Jupiter, with a length of about 25,000 kilometers and a span of12,000 kilometers. The size is about 1.3 times that of the earth.

Using QHY5III290M back-illuminated planetary camera, planetary photographer Chris Go obtained a photo of Jupiter with details of Jupiter's Great Red Spot through 6 minutes of high-speed video image recording. The QHY5III290M with USB3.0 ultra-high speed interface can provide full HD images of 135 frames/second and 1920* 1080 at the highest. The back-illuminated CMOS image sensor has excellent sensitivity and electronic readout noise of 0.7, and can capture as many photons as possible even under the condition of very short exposure time per frame.
