Spectacular! Guanling Ice Mortar Group has two eyes of the earth.

Guanling Ice Mortar Group is located at the junction of Duanqiao Town and Dabang Township in Guanling Autonomous County and is a part of the upper reaches of Dabang River. The whole journey is about 8 kilometers.

Mortar is one of the remains of ancient glaciers and a direct product of glaciers. In the late Quaternary glaciers, glacial meltwater carried ice chips and debris from top to bottom along the glacier cracks, strongly impacting and grinding the underlying bedrock, forming a kind of stone mortar that seems to have been used to beat rice in ancient China, so it was called an ice mortar.

The surface of Guanling ice mortar cave is round, nearly round, oval and irregular, which looks like a pair of eyes of the earth.
