Some time ago, my friend brought a new camera. Panasonic's latest flagship model LUMIX G9, 20 18 was just released in China at the beginning of this year. I want to take a shot in the studio environment and test the overall strength of the camera. This opportunity to taste new things will definitely not be missed, so I have the following contents. About the experience of Panasonic G9

As a mirrorless camera, the overall shape of Panasonic LUMIX G9 is biased towards the design concept of SLR, with larger size and tough lines. After playing, I think the product design has three highlights:

1, the convex design at the handle is obvious, which is easy to hold. Panasonic obviously wants to make this irreversible machine into a professional machine.

2. The appearance of the shoulder screen necessary for SLR on this mirrorless camera is somewhat unexpected. Sony, as a representative, concentrates all the displays on the display screen, both good and bad.

3. The key setting and double dial design are easy to use, and the shutter is lighter (compared with SLR cameras). If you are used to half-pressing pre-focusing, it is easy to miss the shot. Some media say that the lightweight shutter is designed to reduce the vibration of the fuselage, which sounds a bit mysterious.

Since Panasonic G9 is the main product to seize the professional machine market, we have to talk about the "so-called" image quality through actual shooting. During this period, most of the shooting projects in the shed were portraits. After the normal shooting, I will take more photos with Panasonic G9 for comparison and reference. The matched lenses are 8- 18mm F2.8-4 lens and 200mm F2.8 lens respectively. Because Panasonic G9 adopts M4/3 system, after equivalent focal length conversion, 200mm fixed focus has little effect in the studio, but the telephoto end of 8- 18mm can reach 36mm, and the maximum aperture of telephoto end is F4, which is not bad.

The first group: this is the counter display materials of domestic cosmetics brands that are not well-known in XX. After simply adjusting the curve in the later stage, it can basically reach the standard of film production (not counting fine-tuning of details). Compared with this kind of material shooting that needs large output in the later stage, it has always been a headache for us. After all, pixels and image quality are always on the opposite side. Panasonic G9 did use a good solution. Panasonic G9 has 20 million pixels. Due to the limitation of M4/3 frame, it is difficult to improve the pixel. G9 has a magical multi-frame synthesis high-resolution mode, and the output can reach 80 million pixels, which can fully cope with large-size output. From the actual shooting process, we can also feel the convenience brought by this mode to commercial photography.

Group 2: Take photos in the standard Taobao shed. The theme is the mink coat on the model. We can clearly feel the "texture" of the coat in the film after a simple later period, which is absolutely complete and the overall color performance is very accurate. In addition, the sharpness of the lens is also satisfactory.

The third group: during lunch break, the field staff and makeup assistant are invited to practice their hands. The younger brothers and sisters were a little constrained and at a loss in front of the spotlight, so the high-speed continuous shooting function of Panasonic G9 came into play. Although the shutter sound is not as refreshing as that of a SLR camera, the overall strength is good, and the continuous shooting speed as high as 12fps can easily capture subtle expressions.

The fourth group: fashion models. The shooting theme planning is mostly black and white and red and black, with strong contrast. Judging from the final sample, the black is thick enough and the red does not overflow. The layering between colors is satisfactory.

The fifth group: slapping a friend's children, the high-speed shutter can capture the child's subtle expressions and physical changes, and the Panasonic G9 has a quick focusing response. The anti-shake performance is also good. Hand-held shooting in the studio will not have obvious picture jitter.
