The detailed process of hijacking in the Philippines

Hong Kong tourists were hijacked in the Philippines and eight people were killed.

Philippine police tried to open the door of the robbed bus. Yesterday, a bus carrying 22 Hong Kong tourists was hijacked by a dismissed Filipino policeman in Manila.

On the morning of 23rd, a former Philippine policeman who was dismissed on suspicion of extortion held an M 16 rifle in the capital Manila and hijacked a tourist bus carrying 22 Hong Kong tourists and 3 Filipinos. After more than ten hours of negotiation and confrontation with the police, the carjacker was killed. By the evening of 23rd, eight Hong Kong tourists had been killed and two others were seriously injured.

Don't be fooled by the Philippine authorities. The gunman only wants money, not recognition. When Mr Mendoza receives a suitcase containing1000000 pesos, he will release everyone, drive south and never return to Manila.

Please admit calmly that the authorities did not guarantee the safety of the hostages. There was no guarantee from the beginning! They won't pay a penny for the hostage's life. This was not reported because the authorities deliberately concealed it!

How many hostages were killed by gunmen? How many hostages were killed by the police? May God tell us the truth one day.

Everyone who knows me knows that I hate talking. I talk about everything in front of my friends, but I hate dealing with the public and strangers, no matter how big things happen, no matter how much I want to talk. But this time, please allow me to speak from my heart. As a person deeply rooted in the Philippines and spent his childhood there, I have something to say.

First of all, I must emphasize that any kidnapping in the Philippines, whether by anti-government guerrillas or by your private driver, is not bad, except for one word-money. Believe me, I have lived in the "kidnapping capital" for many years, and all kidnappings I have seen, no matter what the situation and background, will only be linked to asking for money in the end. However, I must also say that although some of my family members were kidnapped in the 1980s, to be fair, the situation is much better now. Although hundreds of kidnappings still occur every year, unfortunately, most of the targets are China people.

Unfortunately, the fact is that the Philippine authorities have long been accustomed to this kind of kidnapping. They also know that most of the hostages are from China. Therefore, gentlemen, please don't ask "why the response of the Philippine authorities is so slow/stupid/dangerous" … and so on. There is a simple reason. They don't care about the lives of the hostages in the car. Just as Hong Kong people are used to marching, Filipinos are also used to kidnapping. The laughter during the live broadcast and the frivolous attitude of the new President Aquino III during the tour can prove this point. I don't want to incite racial hatred, I just tell the truth according to my knowledge of this country. Another regret is that if you expect the Philippine authorities to take this incident as seriously as developed countries, you are really naive. I also want to point out in fairness that Filipinos have never hated China people like Indonesians. Although China people control the Philippine economy, most local people can live in peace with China people. The Chinese community has long been an inseparable part of the Philippines. Perhaps, this is not just pure hatred. A few Filipinos may be jealous of China people, as far as I'm concerned. But I'm afraid this is a common phenomenon all over the world: the poor hate the rich.

The Philippine "sniper" opened fire regardless of the possibility of hostages in front of the bus. So it is not surprising that the media claimed that at least three people were killed by the police.

Back to the topic, my personal impression is that the gunman only wants money and does not want to be reinstated. I don't understand. You don't know. The stupidest person in the world knows who will reinstate a kidnapper. Of course not! what do you think? I'm sure you are, too, because it's totally unreasonable.

The gunman probably asked for a pension instead of reinstatement. I think his sad story is just to cover up his ugly behavior. When negotiating with the authorities, there must be terms and conditions about money. I have no proof. Don't make me prove that my words are true. "This is not a court. Nobody talks to you about the evidence. This is what Li Siqi said. If you are dissatisfied with me as a bitch, you are welcome to write it. It's your turn to show me the evidence to prove that my reasoning is wrong. You can also ask the Philippine authorities directly to see how they react. Ask directly: "Did you talk about money during the negotiation? "See how they reply.

So far, at 6: 40 p.m. on August 24th, no report has anything to do with the negotiation process. You can give up, there will never be a report, unless there is a miracle. The government has never told and will never tell the media that the gunman only wanted money, but the authorities refused, for the sake of wallet and face. The authorities also need to let the emperor step down. After being rescued, Ms. Liang, who lost her husband and two daughters, kept crying that the authorities refused to pay the ransom. She is in front of the bus, not far from the gunman, so she is likely to hear some negotiation conversations (for example, the gunman may emphasize the word "money" in English many times during the negotiation).

It's no use talking now. Why should I say it? I only hope that the victims, their families and the public in Hong Kong can analyze the incident from another angle. Media reports may not fully reflect the facts. There are countless mysteries, especially the negotiation process that has been deliberately concealed. I am also extremely angry that the President shirked his responsibility in that so-called press conference in an unreasonable, indifferent, rude and arrogant manner. No matter how he shirks his responsibility, he can't ignore the corruption in his own country.

As a Hong Kong resident, I express my deepest condolences to the victims of the incident. I sat in front of the TV and watched the whole event day and night. I deeply feel how weak I am when I can't save the hostages, although I know it's impossible. Please tolerate my poor English, because I have no energy to type this article in Chinese. Another reason for writing this article in English is that I hope people all over the world can understand this article, especially the media, and shift their focus from tragedy to the truth being covered up!

To sum up, what can give these eight dead people a chance to live? What would I do if it were me? It's simple. Put a million dollars, a map and a compass in Mr. Mendoza's lunch box, then drive a car next to the bus and knock on the door. There is an exchange of hostages in it, which makes the gunmen feel safe on the escape route. Then you will see him smiling and driving his car to the poorest south of the country. Unfortunately, reality is always cruel. My hypothesis has no chance to prove. I lost sleep last night. What about you?
