Discovery of the Northern Tomb in Upper Shanxi Province

On May 2, 2009, Kloc-0, a dragon ball carving was found on the top of the tomb, supported by a lotus pedestal.

In late August of the same year, after a three-day on-the-spot investigation and comprehensive field archaeological data and documents, it was determined that the ancient tomb in Shangjinbei was the tomb of Emperor Mingwen.

Nanjing experts believe that the various components of the tomb are exquisite and luxurious, and its structure and pattern reflect the royal style. In particular, the lotus shape of the stupa in ancient tombs is exactly the same as that of Ming Taizu Mausoleum in Fengyang, Anhui Province and Ming Zu Mausoleum in Huai 'an, which can only be used by the Zhu family in Ming Dynasty. The cassock hidden in Huayan Temple in Ningde is a brocade cassock worn by Zhu Yunwen when he fled from Nanjing to Ningde. It was identified as made before Yongle in the Ming Dynasty, and it was made by splicing 50 pieces of cloth with 18 totem cassock patterns around it.
