How to learn paper cutting
Yao is a member of China Folk Writers and Artists Association, a director of China Folk Paper-cutting Association, a vice chairman of Baotou Folk Artists Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Eighth CPPCC in Baotou, and a winner of the First Ten Outstanding Young People in Lucheng, the May 4th Youth Award, the Women's Meritorious Award and the Women's Yuan Award in Baotou. Now he is the director of painting and calligraphy training in Baotou Painting and Calligraphy Institute. Starting from 1996, six works were exhibited in Tokyo, Japan; 65438-0995 Collage paper-cut work "Tumochuan Mongolian Wedding" was selected for the "World Female Artists Exhibition" and exhibited in Washington, USA. 1998 held a personal paper-cutting exhibition in Copenhagen at the invitation of the Kingdom of Denmark; 1999 At the invitation of Thailand, he participated in the "Thai-Chinese Cultural Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition" in Bangkok. Since 1996, many works have been collected by China Art Museum. In 2000, his works won the first prize of "Chinese paper-cut century retrospective exhibition".
