This is a photo of Zhang Hecheng, taken by an international photography team of five people led by Italian photographer Filippo Blengini. They took 70,000 photos in two weeks at an altitude of 3,500 meters at Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Europe, braving the cold of minus 10 degrees Celsius.
The shooting equipment they used was a Canon 70D SLR camera, a Canon EF 400mm F/2.8 II IS lens and a Canon Extender 2X III rangefinder.
It took them two months to post-process and splice the 46TB photos taken. If printed at 300dpi, the final photos may be as big as a football field.
