The north dike is about 6 kilometers long, starting from the seaside expressway in the west, east to Mazu Cultural Park, and north to Baguatan and the sea area. It is an important barrier and environmental buffer zone for the safety of the northern coast of Linhai New Town.

Among them, the key northern dike is about 3.3 kilometers long.

① On the basis of giving consideration to the coastal protection function, it integrates the functions of environmental buffering, ecological science popularization and seashore viewing.

② From the characteristics of the sea area, there are not only beaches inhabited by seagulls, but also intertidal zones with low tide exposure and high tide surge, as well as muddy water-clear water transition zone and artificial clear water coastline along the north dike, which can present different coastal features.

Combined with the characteristics of different coastal zones, the eco-city divides the North Embankment Coastal Trail into three scenic spots: Blue Bay Imagination, North Bay Tide Observation and Green Embankment Gull Xiang, focusing on creating six landscape nodes and integrating marine culture into them.

"Blue Bay Imagination" is located at the eastern end of the North Embankment Coastal Trail, which is the "first impression" of entering the park from Mazu Cultural Park. This section of the open sea is a clear water coastline, which is suitable for watching the sea by railings.
