What is the ancient wedding greeting word?

The double happiness writing "Xi" originally refers to two happy events at the same time, but now it is mostly used in wedding celebrations to express the joy of both sides. Sticking "Xi" when getting married is a traditional folk festival custom in China.

The origin of the word "Xi":

It is said that when Wang Anshi was 23 years old, he went to Beijing to catch the exam and passed by Majia. Seeing that he was clever and alert, the examiner sent someone for an interview. The examiner pointed to the Flying Tiger Flag Day in front of the main hall: "Flying Tiger Flag, Flag Flying, Flag Rolling and Hiding." Wang Anshi immediately thought of half a pair of lanterns outside the stable. He replied without thinking: "The lanterns run, the lights go, and the lights stop." He answered correctly quickly and well, which surprised the examiner.
