North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower covers an area of 2,335 mu. There are Garden Campus (No.36, North Ring Road, Zhengzhou, Henan Province) and Longzihu Campus (No.0/36, Jinshui East Road, Zhengzhou, Henan Province). It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Water Resources and Henan Province, which is mainly managed by Henan Province. It is a key university supported by Henan Province and the leading unit of China University of BRICS Network University.

North China University of Water Conservancy and Hydropower was born, existed and prospered with water, and developed with the construction of water conservancy and hydropower in new China.
