At the 2018 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Blackmagic Design today released the new Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. This handheld cinema camera is sold through Blackmagic Design dealers all over the world. The BMPCC 4K is equipped with a full-size 4/3 sensor, bringing a resolution of 4096*2160 and 13 stops of dynamic range, which is worthy of the name of digital cinema quality. Because it is full-size, this 4/3 sensor can reduce the crop factor and bring a wider field of view. It also has dual native ISO settings of up to 25600, giving you outstanding low-light performance! BMPCC 4K can record 4K images at up to 60 frames per second, and windowed HD images at 120 frames per second. The camera features fourth generation Blackmagic Design color science and features film, video and extended video modes. The newly added extended mode combines the latitude of movie mode with the convenience of video mode, so you can get stunning images without the hassle of post-production.
