My interview story
Since I became a reporter, I have to do all kinds of interviews. In my interview experience, my first interview as an intern reporter-an interview with a teacher from the School of Foreign Languages of our school during the Sino-Japanese exchange activities naturally had the greatest and deepest influence on me.
I remember it was two friends who interviewed the press corps. Because it was our first interview, we also screened the interviewees at the event site.
At that time, I mistakenly thought that the teacher was the exchange object of the activity, so I especially wanted to interview her about the Sino-Japanese exchange activities. In fact, another particularly important reason is that among the on-site personnel who participated in the activity, we all felt that she was more approachable and amiable. But before the interview, we were not only nervous but also timid, wandering around the teacher's position and constantly hesitating and shrinking under various excuses. But fortunately, we finally took the most crucial step and sent an interview invitation to the teacher. As expected, the teacher accepted the invitation. In the whole interview process, although our interview questions were difficult, our first interview as a reporter ended in success. According to the interview, my teacher has been in China for a long time from his hometown. After staying in Shanghai, I have been teaching in Guizhou University for eight years now. The teacher said that during her long time in China, she was fortunate to witness the development of education in China, Guizhou and even China. What impressed me the most about that teacher was an exclusive interview with her at another activity. In that interview, I learned that she is not only an amiable teacher, but also a good scholar who loves China culture and keeps learning knowledge. She has been taking Chinese classes with international students and will communicate with more people with the same interests by participating in various activities.
Because this is the first interview, I have a particularly deep memory of the interviewee. So every time I meet Mr. Sudaki on campus, I greet her, so that I know in the interview that the teacher has always mistaken me for one of her students.
As far as I am concerned, becoming a reporter has brought me many changes. Because I am a reporter and do media work, I have to look for problems and news every day, which has exercised my observation ability, perception ability of events and thinking ability of problems. Moreover, as a reporter, I need to contact all kinds of people and things, so it is of great help to my interpersonal communication and communication skills. After the interview, I want to express news events in words, which has exercised my writing ability and language expression ability. A news report needs not only words, but also vivid pictures and videos. Journalists and photographers are often inseparable, and the whole process of news reporting has made me understand the power of teamwork. ...
My first interview really taught me a lot. For example, I should make more preparations before the interview and have an interview outline. Don't be afraid to ask questions boldly when facing the interviewee, but also learn to listen. This not only influenced every interview experience since then, but also made me understand that interviews are like megaphones. I dig up other people's stories and tell them to more people. This process is very precious and worth cherishing, and every bit is full of sense of accomplishment. For campus reporters, this job as a reporter is another pair of eyes and another brain of the school. We help the teachers and students of the school understand what is happening on this campus and let the outside world see our existence. We are communicators of news and emotional connectors. I am proud to be a campus reporter!
