Brief review: "In the Closet", by " Directed by fashion photographer Herb Ritts (who died in 2002) known as "Bad Man". The music video was shot in sepia-tinged black-and-white, reminiscent of the rotary photocopying process still used in the newspaper industry as late as the 1960s. With a shiny ponytail, tight black jeans and a white V-neck T-shirt, MJ looked quite elegant and Spanish. The music video is set in a hacienda, with Iberian dancers fluttering their long white dresses. The song's rhythm is filled with intoxicating clips of crashes, slams, clicks and glass-shattering sounds. The last minute is entirely a shot of MJ dancing in a doorway or against a white plaster wall. This is another application of MJ's basic dance concept - endless changes resulting from endless repetition. The music video ends with Michael slamming the door shut. Partnering with MJ was the black supermodel Naomi Campbell.

This is an exciting MV and one of MJ's pinnacle works. In the MV, MJ's movements are healthy and sunny, gentle and sexy. You will feel MJ's sexy style, which is absolutely unique. It's a classic.
