Duga Fusion: This is a mechanical keyboard with a soul, both inside and outside.
By chance, I got to know Dujia. In order to solve the problem of wireless desktop, I bought Dujia’s three-mode wireless keyboard K310W. When I first chose it, it was mainly because the appearance and color match my personal aesthetic. Moreover, it was an original CHERRY shaft, so I placed the order with the intention of giving it a try. Unexpectedly, I got an unexpected surprise. The workmanship and feel exceeded expectations. Later, I also equipped the iPad with a 68-key Fusion retro. Bai, I was immediately impressed by its unique retro temperament after unboxing it, and I was determined to collect all three appearance themes. The steam gray one below is the second one.
The Durga Fusion series*** has three themes: retro white, steam gray, and nautical blue, corresponding to three different eras. Although the appearance design is the same, only the change in color shows that They gave me different feelings of immersion, which was why it was difficult for me to choose, so I finally decided to take both. After all, I am an adult and I don’t have to do multiple-choice questions.
The temperament of Duga Fusion is retro, and the 68-key design has a compact layout and is blessed with many contemporary elements, such as Bluetooth switches like old-fashioned flashlight power buttons, red and white consoles, and old-fashioned radios. The horizontal grooves embellish this temperament just right. At the same time, the small and exquisite size can be used with an iPad and can be carried in a backpack when going out.
The "DURGOD" LOGO with a black background and metallic texture in the upper left corner uses a font with a touch of classical charm and is magnetically fixed in the groove on the forehead of the keyboard.
The right side of the groove will be deeper, so press the right side and the LOGO will be pushed out. The 2.4G wireless receiver is stored in the internal space. Turn over the keyboard and you can take out the receiver. , this design is very clever. When I saw it for the first time on Fusion retro white, I quite appreciated the designer’s delicate thoughts.
On the right side of the forehead is the Bluetooth control switch. Unlike ordinary wireless keyboards, this switch is hidden on the back or side, and is very small to achieve a concealed effect. Duga Fusion treats it as A design element is placed in a very conspicuous place and is large in size. If you look closely, it looks like the power switch button of an old-fashioned flashlight.
Duga Fusion supports three connection modes: wired, Bluetooth, and wireless 2.4G. It can connect up to four devices: Bluetooth x2, 2.4G wireless x1, wired x1, through the shortcut key combination Fn + Q/ W/E/R can quickly switch between this device.
The USB-C interface is located on the left side of the rear frame. Two data cables are randomly distributed: A2C and C2C. When a wired connection is required, old desktop computers without USB-C interface and the latest models without USB-A laptops can be used, and a C2A adapter is specially equipped for the 2.4G wireless receiver to facilitate use in different situations.
Fusion uses CHERRY original shafts, which are available in 5 types: green, red, tea, silver, and silent red. Among them, the silver shaft, red shaft, and silent red shaft are all linear shafts, and there are no As for the drop feel, the trigger force of these three switches are all 45cN. When I bought the retro white model before, I chose the silent red switch with a key travel of 1.9mm. This time I chose the silver switch with the steam gray model and the key travel of 1.2mm, which is shorter. Some are more suitable for typing.
ABS keycaps have poor hardness and are prone to oiling. This is something that mechanical keyboard players know. Generally, high-end keyboards are equipped with PBT keycaps, which not only have high hardness, good hand feel, and delicate touch, The most important thing is that there will be no oiling after long-term use, which is more popular among players. All Duga products use PBT keycaps, which are very fine in workmanship. The cross openings and ribs on the back are smooth and have no burrs.
There are different opinions on whether the large keys of a mechanical keyboard are better, the satellite axis or the balance bar. Everyone has their own preferences. Some people think that the balance bar feels good, but it is troublesome to disassemble and difficult to take care of, while the satellite axis is not balanced. The pole is so stable, and the advantage is that it is easy to disassemble and assemble. I personally hate the sound of the balance rod steel wire rebounding, so I still prefer more satellite shafts. The adjustment of the Duga Fusion large keys is very good, the rebound is crisp and powerful, and there is no lag.
Durgod’s driver software is called Durgod Zens Engine, which can manage all its keyboards. Opening Durgod Zens Engine can automatically identify the current keyboard model and color.
The function of Durgod Zens Engine is very complete. It can not only assign the function of each key individually, but also customize the macro function, the onboard memory on the keyboard, and can also store three sets of custom keys independently of the software. Define macros. There is a small bug reported here. In the past, the remaining battery power of the keyboard could be displayed regardless of the wired or wireless connection. After upgrading to the latest version 1.0.2.12, this function disappeared, which is still a bit inconvenient.
Conduct a button test, wired connection, 2.4G wireless connection, Bluetooth connection, no collision in the whole process.
Because the K310W chooses silver switches and I really like the feeling of typing, so when I bought the Fusion Retro White, I debated whether it should be a silver switch or a silent red switch. Finally, I wanted to experience the feel of the silent red switch. I just missed the silver axis. This time I fulfilled my dream on the Steam Return. There is only one nautical blue left. I think it will most likely be a brown axis. I have to have a non-linear axis with a sense of paragraphing. It can be called a perfect ending.
For me, Duga Fusion is a perfect mechanical keyboard, otherwise I wouldn’t have the idea of ??collecting all the colors. I like retro elements very much, and I often use this as a reference in photography. Theme or background, Fusion fits this preference. It is not simply about consuming retro sentiments, but is truly carefully designed with many elements, truly carving this temperament into the bone marrow.
Of course, from a practical point of view, 68 keys may not meet the actual needs of some users, but the compact size, placed in a backpack, and used with an iPad when going out, will definitely attract a wave of passers-by. The amazement and envy of it can be regarded as satisfying a small vanity. In any case, it is not an exaggeration to put Fusion at the top of my favorite mechanical keyboards.
