Professional photographers generally have no external recording equipment, so they can't master their own time when the tape recorder and camera work independently. In the past, the method relied on clappers, but now most of them use time coders. The principle of time encoder is to synchronize the clock on the camera with the clock on the tape recorder. For example, the time on the tape recorder is now 5: 0 1: 02.044 milliseconds, so you can synchronize this time to the time encoder and synchronize the time information to the camera through the time encoder. If there are multiple cameras, it is necessary to prepare multiple time encoders to ensure that each camera records the same time at the same time. After the camera or tape recorder is turned on and off, be sure to pay attention to whether the time code is correct. If there is a professional monitor, it is easy to see whether the time codes are synchronized. If not, so is it. In this way, post-editing is a waste of time without time. This function can be completed in Da Vinci software, and at the same time, video and audio materials are dragged into the media pool.
