What are the characteristics of Strand’s photography?

In 1912, Strand became a commercial photographer, and over the next few years he met Stieglitz. During this period, he was very interested in Stieglitz's photos exhibited in Hall 291. In 1916, his own photos were also exhibited here. These photos are taken honestly, recording some common things with an objective eye, including white picket fences, plant shapes with strong lines, corridors of country houses, dishes in the kitchen, etc. These works, due to their bright tones, concise images, and strong sense of form, aroused great interest and were also appreciated by Stieglitz.
