Are there any photos showing the local architectural features?

Architecture is solidified music, and architectural photography is the art of freeze-frame. Buildings in different corners of the world have their own characteristics, some with distinctive regional brands or unique styles. From an architectural photo, we can see significant traces of history and culture.

In terms of architectural features, each country has its own different representative buildings, such as European Mediterranean architecture, British architecture, German Gothic architecture and ancient Roman architecture. There are different buildings in different areas of China. For example: Huizhou architecture in Wuyuan, Jiangxi, old Gothic architecture in Qingdao, Shandong, garden architecture in Suzhou, old Shikumen architecture in Shanghai, etc.

In the past, when I traveled, I always took some photos whenever I went to a place, and I also took photos when I saw distinctive buildings. I think that friends who travel frequently and know the local architectural features will know what architectural features are at a glance. Let's share the buildings in the following six photos with you!

The first photo was taken on a cloudy day in Wuyuan in March, when it was raining in Mao Mao, which combined the local buildings with the surrounding mountains, waters and trees, setting off the unique architectural characteristics of Huizhou School and making it poetic.

The second portrait echoes the blue sky in the corner of the old building in Qingdao, adding a bit of atmosphere and vividness to the picture, which is a Gothic architectural feature at first glance;

The third and fourth pictures are Fanpo Building, a cloister-style building on Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, which is elegant and unique in shape.

The fifth and sixth pictures are the earth buildings of Yunshuiyao ancient town in Nanjing County, Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, which are ancient and mysterious under the blue sky.

China is a big family composed of many nationalities. People living in different areas have different architectural styles due to different geographical locations and customs. Some areas (regions) have unique buildings, so it is easy to tell where they are. For example, Mongolian yurts represent the characteristics of Mongolian life; Cave dwelling represents the residential characteristics of people in the high loess slope area of northwest China; Most of the diaojiao buildings are in Miao areas.
