Brief introduction of Dahongzhai scenic spot

Dahongzhai Scenic Area is located in Jiushan Town, the northwest border of Yuzhou City, Henan Province, which is a famous historical and cultural city in China and an excellent tourist city known as "Summer Capital, Porcelain Capital and Medicine Capital". The scenic spot is 36 square kilometers, belonging to the Song-Jishan system of Funiu Mountain, with complex geological landforms, scattered human landscapes and beautiful natural landscapes. It is a national AAAA tourist attraction and a national forest park. It is 0/00km away from Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, 70km away from Xinzheng International Airport and 70km away from Xuchang City in the east. Dahongzhai, also known as Wofo Mountain, is 1 156 meters above sea level. It was named after an important official of the Yellow Emperor, Da Hongshi, who built a village here to protect the people. Known as "the first village in China", "the roof of Liancheng" and "the ancestor of mountainous areas" in Yuzhou. Located at the junction of Zhengzhou Dengfeng, Xuchang Yuzhou and Ruzhou, it is said that "one step across three counties". Taking Yongquan River as the boundary, it is naturally divided into two regions: north and south. Its mountains are majestic and beautiful, and the mountains are overlapping, towering and spectacular, echoing the Songshan Mountain in Zhongyue. There are two peaks, namely Star Tower and Kela Stack (Recreation Stack), which are distributed in a triangle with Dahongzhai. One is steep and straight, and the other is open and flat at the top.

Surrounded by the "Three Peaks", there are 30 landscapes from west to east, such as dustpan palm, drilling hole, Phoenix Wangtai, Yixiantian, Fengkou, Diaoqiao 'ao, Monk Cave, Baiguoshu, water curtain cave, Longquan Temple, Fan Lihua Terrace and Laoyangshan. These scenic spots are either hanging on cliffs, hidden in virgin forests, entrenched in ravines, or inserted with wings at the summit. Some are beautiful, some are magnificent, some are ethereal, some are condensed, colorful and dazzling. In the meantime, walking around and changing the scenery feels like floating; Seasonal changes, landscape changes; There are days and nights, each with a hole in the sky; Rain or shine, elegant and interesting, full of fun.

There are Spider Mountain, Liyuan Mountain, Orchid Mountain and Agate Mountain in the south area from east to west 19. Due to the people's war against the barren hills in Jiushan Town in 1950s, from east to west, there are pines, cypresses, willows, poplars, fragrant peppers, Robinia pseudoacacia and hawthorn. In spring and summer, thousands of trees are magnificent and flowers are blooming, which is really refreshing and unforgettable with the original natural flowers and trees in the northern region. In the scenic area, clear springs and streams can be seen everywhere, and dams and reservoirs are dotted like mirrors. From west to east, there are Mingdong Spring on the mountainside of Dahongzhai, Chen Jiaoquan covered with old ginger trees, Haiyan Spring in limestone crevices, Bailongtan and Heilongtan under the cliff. These spring pools are spotless, and there are Jinpen Reservoir, Wuhe Reservoir and Shimen Reservoir in the mountains. All year round, the water is clear, ducks and gulls are flying and fish and shrimp are swimming.

Dahongzhai Hongye Race Xiangshan. Every year in the middle and late days of 10, the red leaves all over the mountains make the mountains look particularly enchanting. In the center of Dahongzhai, the first thing I saw was a female ginkgo tree with a history of 1500 years, also known as Gongsun Tree. The tree is 25 meters high and 4.5 meters in bust. It's hard for the three of them to hug each other. Although it is autumn, it is still full of green leaves. In ancient folk customs, ancient trees are still regarded as gods, and many red ribbons are hung on them, which is a good wish of people! According to the local people, there are immortals living in this tree. If someone climbs a branch, breaks a leaf and picks its fruit, it will be rewarded. So no one dares to touch the tree. Only when the fruit is ripe and the leaves fall can it be picked. There is also a beautiful love legend about this tree: this tree and a male ginkgo tree of Shenqi are married by wind. Next to the tree, the roots are connected, like a loving mother holding a child, affectionate and intriguing. This tree also makes us realize what kind of wind a tree can attract. Although we can't see its branches swaying violently when the wind comes, the wonderful wind blowing from the tree is different. We can still hear the sound of this tree on the mountain. It's comfortable to take a nap under the tree and blow a cool breeze. Behind the thousand-year-old tree, there is a thousand-year-old temple called "Buddhist Temple". This temple was built in the Southern and Northern Dynasties and is the lower house of Shaolin. The inscription says that this temple is a branch of Zen and has been confirmed by Shaolin Temple. The temple is located in the gathering place of nine ridges, surrounded by mountains on three sides, and there is a flat hill below, which looks like a confession. There are two streams on the east and west sides. Zhong Ling is a Buddhist shrine with beautiful scenery. Every year on the sixth day of the third lunar month, many mountain people from Yuzhou, Ruzhou and Dengfeng come here to worship and pray for peace. It is very lively and unusual, and it is a portrayal of "the tree is born from the temple and the temple is born from the essence of the tree".
