Spring scenery behind-the-scenes tidbits

1. Leslie Cheung was infected with amoeba during spring break shooting and had diarrhea every day.

2. The original story of the film is that He Baorong came to Argentina to deal with his father's funeral, but unexpectedly found that his father had a same-sex lover in Argentina, and his curiosity drove him to have the idea of interacting with the same sex. Later, because Wong Kar-wai changed his mind, he discarded all the pieces that had been made.

3. The film crew booked the hotel where Tony Leung Chiu Wai stayed in the play. On one occasion, a guest who didn't move out accidentally opened the door to "peek" and was photographed. Wong Kar-wai took a fancy to his "peeping" expression, and let him have a look several times, but the guests couldn't return to their original expressions, so the director had to sigh.

4. When shooting spring scenes, Wong Kar-wai will detain their passports for fear that the crew will sneak back to Hong Kong, which is exactly the same as Li Yaohui detaining He Baorong's passport in the movie.

7. Leslie Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu Wai play He Baorong and Li Yaohui respectively, and the names of the characters in these two plays are actually borrowed from the names of the two assistant photographers in "Spring Break Out".
