(two) responsible for the organization and management of the province's basic surveying and mapping, marine surveying and mapping, administrative boundary surveying and mapping, cadastral surveying and mapping and other major surveying and mapping projects, in conjunction with relevant departments to prepare relevant project plans and annual plans, and organize their implementation.

(three) to assume the responsibility of standardizing the market order of surveying and mapping geographic information. Responsible for the qualification management of surveying and mapping geographic information in the province according to the prescribed authority; Supervise and manage surveying and mapping activities such as the quality of surveying and mapping results and the acquisition, development and application of geographic information; Responsible for surveying and mapping geographic information project filing; Responsible for the preliminary examination of foreign organizations or individuals who come to this province to engage in surveying and mapping geographic information activities in accordance with the regulations; Supervise and manage the bidding work of surveying and mapping geographic information projects in the whole province; Organize and investigate provincial or major illegal cases of surveying and mapping geographic information according to law, and be responsible for relevant administrative reconsideration and administrative litigation.

(four) to undertake the responsibility of providing surveying and mapping geographic information services and emergency support. Guide and supervise the management of all kinds of surveying and mapping achievements and geographic information in the province and the protection of infrastructure such as surveying markers in the province; Manage the intersection of surveying and mapping results and geographic information; Responsible for the management of surveying and mapping science and technology archives; Organize and supervise surveying and mapping results and geographic information security; Responsible for providing provincial basic surveying and mapping results and basic geographic information data.

(six) to undertake the responsibility of map management. Supervise and manage the map market, manage the compilation of maps, and examine and approve maps and map products that are open to the public according to the prescribed authority; Managing and approving the representation of geographical names on maps; In conjunction with the relevant departments, according to the authority to draw up the standard sample map of the administrative boundaries and sea boundaries of the map of this province.

(eight) responsible for the audit of the province to carry out surveying and mapping geographic information activities for the purpose of aerial photography and remote sensing data procurement plan, the preparation and implementation of the province's basic aerial photography and remote sensing data procurement plan.

(nine) responsible for the province's surveying and mapping geographic information technology innovation and foreign affairs management and other related work. Organize and guide the basic research of surveying and mapping geographic information, major scientific and technological research, scientific and technological popularization and achievement transformation, carry out foreign cooperation and exchange of surveying and mapping geographic information, and organize and guide the continuing education of surveying and mapping professional and technical personnel in the province.
