The difference between Oscar and Hollywood!

Simply put, the Oscar Award is the most authoritative and influential industry award in the United States and the world, organized by AFI of the American Film Academy;

Hollywood is the name of a district in Los Angeles, the central city of California. However, due to some reasons, such as the traditional location of most top production companies and studios in the United States (some professional things are also gathered together), and even the gathering place of movie stars (most of their mansions choose Beverly Hills in Hollywood), Hollywood has gradually become synonymous with American film, and sometimes even synonymous with American film culture, just like Silicon Valley and Zhongguancun in China.

Finally, due to the above reasons, often, the annual Oscar ceremony will be held in Hollywood, California (the most famous cinema in Hollywood in the past, "China Grand Theatre", is the place where there is a star's handprint in front of the door).
