What are the "M", "P" and "A" files on the camera and what is their function?

M, P and A on the camera refer to the exposure mode of the camera. Using the corresponding exposure mode when taking pictures can make the photos more beautiful. Besides M, P and A, some cameras also have S files. The following are explained and introduced respectively:

M file:

M mode is a manual mode, and the aperture and shutter need to be manually adjusted, which makes shooting difficult. M mode can be used when shooting multiple photos or some special effects in the same scene.

P file:

P mode is program automatic exposure mode. When the camera is not adjusted, the P mode is similar to the fully automatic mode. Using this mode to take pictures, the camera will automatically adjust the aperture shutter according to the light conditions of the scene, thus obtaining a reasonable exposure. P mode is mostly used for novice shooting or snapshot.

A file:

One mode is aperture priority mode. In this mode, you can freely change the aperture size without adjusting the shutter speed. The shutter speed will automatically adjust with the change of aperture, thus ensuring reasonable exposure. Aperture is the main condition that determines the blur and clarity of the picture, and even determines the exposure to a certain extent, that is, the light and shade effect of the picture. So the aperture priority mode of the camera is the most important shooting mode.

File of:

S mode is shutter priority mode. In this mode, the photographer can freely adjust the shutter time, and the aperture will change with the shutter change, thus ensuring a reasonable exposure. Using shutter priority mode can make some creative effects, such as using a low-speed shutter when shooting a waterfall, which can make the water look like a silk thread.
