China is willing to work with Laos to tighten the system cage and deepen international cooperation, so as to make China-Laos Railway a clean demonstration project of the Belt and Road Initiative.

At the launching ceremony, representatives of Chinese and Laos participating enterprises signed a letter of commitment of good faith, and the employees of Chinese and Laos participating in the construction collectively took the oath on the spot. It is understood that the China-Laos Railway Road starts from the border between China and Laos in the north and reaches Vientiane, the capital of Laos in the south, with a total length of 4 14 km and a design speed of 160 km per hour. China railway technical standards and China equipment were adopted for the whole line, which was jointly built by China and Laos. The project started construction on February 25, 20 16.
