Nowadays, adults can't live without mobile phones and computers, and electronic products have become an indispensable part of children's lives.

Three-year-old dolls are quick to play with ipad. Children aged six or seven take selfies and play a small game. Pupils play exciting battlefields and the glory of the king, and the level is as high as that of adults; Junior and senior high school students and stars in variety shows are like a few treasures.

Everyone has so much time to play mobile phones and games, so naturally they can't study and get in touch with nature.

People who go for a walk in the square are generally old people and children below primary school. Writer San Mao's Notes on the Scarecrow also reflects this problem.

Both San Mao and Jose had interesting childhoods. Sanmao goes to school on weekdays, climbs trees, carries water snakes, catches fireflies and rides bicycles in the fields every day. When Jose was a child, he and his brother would make slingshots to shoot sparrows and rabbits and know what grass can cure inflammation. In a word, he grew up in nature.

When Sanmao returned to China, she saw her brother's two children. They are three years old, but they have never seen fireflies, mountains, the sea, real butterflies or even the moon.

Sanmao thought that there were so many beautiful legends about the moon, so she took two children out to show them the moon and wanted to tell them beautiful fairy tales. But the two children looked up at the moon a few times, regardless of its interest, went to the stationery store to buy things.

Sanmao suggested that the whole family take their children on a trip to show them the real sea, but they were not interested at all and only liked to play in the swimming pool. Seeing dog tail grass on the road, everyone wanted to eat it but dared not pick it in the grass. They were afraid of snakes, so they asked Sanmao to help them choose two.

After returning to the Canary Islands, Jose's sister's children were sent on holiday. San Mao and Jose decided to take their children to the mountains for an outing and a barbecue the next day.

Before leaving, the children found some comic books in the garage and distributed them immediately. On the mountain, they turned a blind eye to the beautiful scenery. Instead of running around happily, they read comic books quietly and intently.

Not long after, the children came to Jose again, hoping to get home before three o'clock, because when they were at home, they were always chasing a TV series. I think this is the status quo that exists in many families.

Is this kind of scene common in our life? To take the child for a walk, he is afraid of missing the TV series and taking him on a trip. He just wants to play air-conditioned games in the hotel.

Nowadays, children prefer to watch TV at home rather than go hiking in the wild; I prefer to look at the mobile phone web pages to the stars outside. I prefer staying at home to getting in touch with nature.

Sanmao calls children who don't like contact with nature plastic children. Nowadays, there are many plastic children, many of whom have grown from plastic children to plastic people.

Let's think about it: how long has it been since a child has seen the Milky Way? How long has it been since I climbed a mountain and went to the forest? How long has it been since I saw the sea? How long has it been since I saw the sunrise and sunset?

Psychologically speaking, contact with nature has a positive effect on mental health. When children come into contact with nature, they will have many positive psychological experiences, creative thinking, happiness and life satisfaction will be improved, and aggression will be reduced.

Chad Love said: "Children need to get in touch with nature, just like sleep and food."

Contact with nature will strengthen children's contact with others and the world. If you have more time, you can travel to a scenic spot and climb a nearby mountain for two days on weekends. If you don't have time on weekends, going for a walk in the park is also excellent.

So what can we do?

I have the following three suggestions:

1. You can read some books related to nature or do some handicrafts at home.

Arouse children's interest. For example, a series of books of DK are very good enlightenment books, such as DK Children's Encyclopedia and DK Children's Animal Encyclopedia. Fabres's Entomology recorded the details of observing animals in vivid and humorous language. Children can follow the author as a little explorer and discover the mysteries of nature by playing games.

At home, you can also take your children to do some handicrafts, such as making aromatherapy with flowers and candles; Use leaves as bookmarks; Let the children raise a plant by themselves, water, fertilize and pick it by themselves.

2. Choose a nearby park to take notes.

We can take our children to the park every weekend to record the changes of animals and plants we see and the weather changes that day. Look at the changes of ginkgo biloba leaves and fruit growth, how long it will take to grow up, when it will turn from green to yellow, and from fullness to dryness.

You can also record the changes of the 24 solar terms and observe a specific bird's nest, from nesting, incubating eggs, feeding, flight test and southward migration. If the child is older, you can teach him to record all this with a camera and then arrange the picture regularly.

3. Take the children to the zoo and botanical garden.

JOE, a member of Friends of Nature, suggested that you can take your children to the zoo several times according to the route, such as observing China animals, crocodiles and black-necked cranes for the first time; The second time, see Australia and Asia, such as kangaroo emu; The third time, look at animals from America and Africa, such as alpacas and giraffes. You and your child's focus is from near to far, and your child's interest is constantly stimulated, and your vision is getting wider and wider.

You can also take children to observe according to the types of animals. For example, the orangutans and gibbons who mainly look at primates for the first time; The second time was amphibians and reptiles such as snakes and lizards; The third time I saw lions, tigers and so on in cats. This will help children to understand and compare the living habits and behaviors of different kinds of animals and feel the richness and diversity of biology.

We can also take a similar approach to show our children around the botanical garden.

Curiosity and exploration are children's nature. As long as properly inspired, children will not only be willing to contact nature, but even fall in love with nature. When he actively contacts animals and plants and understands the world, life will open another world. He may become fond of sports and mountain climbing. If he likes marine life, he may learn diving or photography. When he encounters setbacks in life, he will have another way to relax himself, and he may also get some insights from animals.

Even if you just like raising small animals and flowers, life will be much warmer and more interesting. May children find another self in nature.
