What country is Venice?

Venice has the reputation of "born of water, beautiful because of water and flourishing because of water", and enjoys the reputation of "Water City", "Water City" and "Hundred Island City". Venice has an extremely important position and influence in the world with its architecture, painting, sculpture and opera.

Venice is a famous tourist and industrial city in northeast Italy and the capital of Veneto. Venice used to be the center of Venice, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic Sea" and one of the most romantic cities in the world.

The whole architecture of Venice is rooted under water, with 150 waterways and more than 400 bridges. There are no vehicles in the city, only boats are connected to each other. Venice seems to be divided into two main islands, but it is actually composed of many small islands, among which the waterways are vertical and horizontal, and there is an anti-S-shaped waterway in the middle as the main channel.

Shakespeare's literary masterpiece The Merchant of Venice describes the story that happened here. For centuries, The Merchant of Venice has been continuously put into film and television by later generations, and spread all over the world in the form of drama and opera.
