As a photography enthusiast, do you think small digital cameras will be replaced by smart camera phones? Why?
1, digital imaging is related to four hardware items, one is sensor, the other is lens, the third is image processor, and the fourth is control configuration. The first three items are related to image quality (sensor accounts for 45%, lens accounts for 50%, and processor accounts for 5%), while the latter is related to shooting success rate; ?
2. As far as sensors are concerned, there are currently medium format, Quan Huafu, half format, 1/5 inch format, 4/3 format and 1 inch format. Mainstream SLR and non-inverting (micro-single) adopt 4/3 inch format sensor, mainstream portable card machine adopts 1 inch format, and low-end camera adopts 65438 inch format. At present, cutting-edge camera phones use 1 "sensor, high-end camera phones use 1/2.3" sensor, and most mobile phones including Ai Crazy 7 use 1/3 "sensor. Digital imaging, outsole is king. That is to say, in a reasonable pixel range, the larger the sensor area, the better the signal-to-noise ratio index (signal-to-noise ratio theory is the basic theory of digital imaging), and the large-format sensor is difficult to be used in mobile phones because of its size and area;
3. As far as the lens is concerned, the camera uses a variety of lenses, except the fixed focus and zoom of the focal area, the wide angle and telephoto of the viewing angle, and the controllable device of the aperture. The most important thing is that the luminous flux of the lens (resolution and luminous flux are the core indicators of imaging) is much larger, and it is difficult to use a large number of special lenses, such as ultra-low dispersion lenses and aspherical lenses, because of the size limitation of mobile phones.
4. Image processor. Although today's high-end cameras all use dual processors, the size of the mobile phone can't be achieved, but because the processors belong to the electronic category, with the future development, the chip can be made smaller, and the speed of the single chip can completely replace the speed of the dual chip, so in theory, the processor of the mobile phone can be the same as that of the camera;
5. control. Manipulation includes focusing speed, focusing area, continuous shooting ability, etc. To strengthen the operation of these functions, we must rely on the principles of ergonomics. The camera can change the shooting parameters very quickly through the linkage of buttons, pulses and dials in a reasonable position, especially the SLR camera, which has very good operability, but the mobile phone can never do it because of its large size.
6. The most convenient thing for a mobile phone is to use a relatively large aperture in the perspective of the fixed-focus lens, which can take a picture close to the fixed-focus camera to the maximum extent, but the imaging quality is restricted by the sensor area and lens quality, and it is difficult to surpass the camera. As far as the imaging level of mobile phones is concerned, the image quality of mobile phones with the same 1 inch sensor is not as good as that of 1 inch camera, and the image quality of mobile phones with the same 1/2.3-inch sensor is not as good as that of 1/2.3-inch camera. The most obvious feature is that mobile phone photos are difficult to enlarge and watch. Once magnified, there will be obvious noise, the core of which is the signal-to-noise ratio index and poor lens quality.
There is no denying that smart phones have eaten into a large part of the card machine market. Now camera manufacturers such as Canon, Nikon and Sony are adjusting their strategies to cope with the shrinking card machine market. However, it is still too early for smart phones to replace card machines. Due to the size, the lens of the mobile phone camera cannot be made very large, and there is no optical zoom. Simple optical structure, 3-4 lenses; Because of the cost, the sensor of mobile phone camera can't be made very large. The sensor is big, and the lens is also big. Because of the cost, the lenses are all plastic, not optical glass, so the picture quality is not comparable to that of the card machine.
Will digital cameras be replaced by smart phones in the future?
At least for a long time now. Because the function of mobile phone is far more than that of camera, the space left for camera module is limited, and the area of CMOS is not comparable to that of SLR. As the saying goes? Crush people to death at the end of a big checkpoint? As long as the CMOS area of mobile phones does not go up, I personally think that SLR will not be replaced by mobile phones. Personal opinion, for reference only.
