Xiapu, Fujian: Sansha Light and Shadow Plank Road

Take the bullet train from Xiamen and arrive at Xiapu in about 2.5 hours.

The road outside Xiapu Railway Station is very wide.

There are many tall buildings in the county town, which is not the small fishing village scene I imagined at all.

We only stayed in Xiapu for one night.

On the way to Sansha Town, I saw a big slogan "Xiapu, an international beach photography resort". I remember that as soon as the train arrived that day, the mobile phone immediately received a welcome message from Xiapu County Cultural Tourism Bureau: "Take a photo of Xiapu with the scenery of mountains and seas, and welcome to Xiapu, the hometown of kelp, laver and southern sea cucumber in China". While developing photography tourism, the local area does not forget to promote local products. Almost everyone who comes to Xiapu will buy some, and I am no exception. I bought seaweed and kelp. After all, this is a producing area and the quality should be better.

The car walked and finally saw the beach. Of course, this is just a beach on the roadside, and the scenery is not as good as those special photography spots.

As we are not a photography group, our stay in Xiapu is very short, and we didn't go to many of the best shooting spots, only went to Dongbi Village, which is the church of Dongbi Village.

Come to the east entrance of "Sansha Light and Shadow Plank Road" near Dongbi Village. This plank road is 2.3 kilometers long and built along the coastline from Gutong Village to Yugongting Village in Sansha Town.

The entrance to the plank road has a wide view, but it's a pity that the tide is high when you go, and you can't see the spectacular beach. Fortunately, the sea view is also beautiful.

Walk down the plank road from the edge of the cliff.

There are many fishing boats moored in the harbor.

Imagine that if the tide ebbs, the beaches here must be spectacular.

There are many masson pine and acacia planted along the plank road.

Huiwangdongbi village

The whole village is built on the mountain, and every household faces the sea. If all the houses were painted white with sky-blue windows, it would be a little Aegean Sea!

The plank road extends all the way along the coastline, with rugged rocks on one side and vast sea on the other, facing the wind at the seaside, which is extremely comfortable!

There are many observation platforms on the light and shadow plank road in Sansha, which is a good place to shoot sunsets. Now it has become an online celebrity attraction in Xiapu.

The Beiqi Beach in Xiapu is also famous. It has been rated as "80 Most Worth Shooting Scenery in China" by Digital Photography magazine, attracting more than 200,000 people to shoot every year. The next two photos were taken when our car passed Beiqi Beach. Originally, I planned to charter a car to watch the sunrise here the next morning, but that morning coincided with the high tide and I had to give up. [tears]

Unfortunately, I didn't see the most beautiful beach when I came to Xiapu. I can only find some unsigned photos on the internet and post them. Thanks to the photographer! Enjoy the beautiful scenery under the lens of others first, and then make a special trip later when you have the opportunity.
