Speech by Vice Captain of Campaign Volunteer School
My name is XXX, 1970, and I was born in Wuzhou, Guangxi. My father is from Chongqing, hence the name.
The highest degree is MBA from the Open University of Hong Kong. In addition, I graduated from the Foreign Trade Department of Guangxi University, majoring in international trade. I am the chairman of the dance association of the college, the propaganda Committee member of the Youth League Committee, and the secretary of the League branch of the class.
After graduation, I worked in Wuzhou Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Company, Nanhai Qinlian Medical Equipment Company, Foshan Xingfeng Development Company, Shunde Huaqiang Benbang Company, and Guangdong Shellet Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. successively.
In addition, I also started my own business in five enterprises, including foreign trade company, decoration company, supermarket convenience store and electronic lighting factory.
/kloc-during the 0/6 years of hard work, there were successes and failures, and these experiences have become my precious wealth.
In recent years, I have been asking myself more and more how to spend the rest of my life. How should I live? I've been thinking-I've been looking for it. -I accidentally saw the advertisement of the volunteer alliance and suddenly got an electric shock.
I have been willing to be a volunteer for a long time. First, it comes from my psychological pleasure and relief after doing a good job. Second, from my mother, who is a teacher and neither worships bodhisattva nor believes in God. But she has never thought much about herself in her life, and there have always been others in her heart. When we want her to enjoy something, she always says: enough, no, my life is enough. -
To tell the truth, like everyone else, I want to help others. I used to feel that "if you earn enough money, you don't have to worry about your life and the life of your family. I don't think you have earned enough money." .
Two things really touched my heart:
One year I went to Tibet. On a bare stone hillside, I saw a small house of about 2 square meters, which was made of stone and wood plastic sheets, and there lived an old lady in rags. I am surprised that this place can still be inhabited. What is even more surprising is that the old lady took no time to take out a set of gold-plated Buddha statues and silver-plated bowls and cups and put them in an orderly way.
The contrast between life and belief is so great that I am ashamed of being covered in famous brands.
The second time was this year's Wenchuan earthquake. We have seen many such cases on the Internet-on TV-in newspapers: In order to protect children, mothers and teachers try their best to give them some living space with their bodies until they die. There are also some dying people who will say "I love you" to their relatives through text messages.
I think many people here would do the same if they were on the scene-why do people say "I love you, dad, I love you, mom, etc." before they die? I am thinking: What do people want most before they die? -and this-is this the most fundamental need of people?
The first thing made me realize that faith is human existence-soul.
The second thing made me realize that the most fundamental need of people is "love"
Isn't it? No matter what religion, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Taoism, Confucianism and so on, the central doctrine can not be separated from one word-"love".
We want to build a harmonious society. What is harmony? Is it just the beautification of the environment and the reduction of the poor population?
I think "harmony"-embodied in the peace of mind-and coordination with the external environment-are two aspects. How can personal mentality be peaceful? With money? With the satisfaction of material desires?
As I said just now-"When I earn enough money, I will start to help others". Is there enough money?
I remember when I was a child, my grandfather told me that one or two drinks, two meats and three bowls of rice a day were capitalism. In the late 1970s, it was how many legs (furniture feet) there were at home, how many computers (electrical appliances) there were at home in the 1980s, and how many bedrooms there were in the 1990s. When I was in college, I heard a very realistic lesbian theory: "I will marry whoever has three rooms and one living room."
Love is unconditional. -Pay and gain are actually equal.
Based on the above mental preparation, it coincides with this opportunity, so I come to run for the vice chairman of the Volunteer Union.
For the selected job, I will grasp the following three points:
1: Accept the organizational arrangement and do everything with your heart.
2. Voluntary work should be done according to one's ability. I am an ordinary person, so I think there must be love first, including loving myself. How can you love others without yourself? Love my family. I come out to volunteer and then go home. My family asked me, you don't even love your family. How to love others if you can't rest assured? Therefore, I want to get the support of my family and love everyone. As long as you have love-helping others-donating money-it depends on your ability.
3. Keep pace with the times and strive for perfection. There is no best, only better. The development of thought and thinking is actually the same.
The reason why I ran for vice president was discussed above. What advantages do I have to do this job well?
The first is the quality advantage: including my physical fitness, the champion of long-distance running in the city sports meeting, the runner-up of badminton in the department, the football player in the department and so on. Recently, I climbed 7000 meters on Mount Qomolangma with the Tibetan mountaineering team.
There are many hobbies, such as cycling, winter swimming, racing, traveling, photography, singing and food-and so on. In a word, I love life and am full of passion.
Other qualities-including language ability-Cantonese, Mandarin, Guiliu dialect, listening and speaking. Sichuan dialect and English-not very good-can also be exchanged. In addition, such as cg animation processing, decoration design, lighting design. There are also contacts.
Secondly, it is my experience and the advantages of experience: when I was at school, when I was the president of the Dance Association, I planned and organized many large-scale cultural performances, get-together activities, and held regular dance and ballroom dancing classes. It can be said that it is very lively and colorful.
After work, I have been the assistant general manager and foreign trade sales director of Guangdong Shellett Optoelectronics, a listed company, from the manager of the export department of Wuzhou Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Company to the secretary to the chairman of Foshan Xingfeng Company and the manager of the advertising department. He has always served as deputy general manager or project director, and has certain planning and organization experience and ability.
There are too many advantages mentioned above. Some people may ask: So awesome and talented, why not go to a big company to continue to develop, be a big boss and build a big enterprise? Do you have to come to such a thankless place?
To tell the truth, what delighted me most in the second half of my life was not the history of Weishui mentioned above, but my recent ideological emancipation.
It's like someone asking mountaineers who look crazy to outsiders, why do you climb those mountains again and again? The mountaineer's answer is "-because-the mountain is there"
If someone asks me to work here, what is it for? I will answer, "because-there is love here."
Finally, talk about the working ideas of joining the vice president of Guicheng Volunteer Alliance:
The first is the problem of orientation and direction.
I see that the current service projects of the Volunteer Alliance mainly include: warm current plan, cultural promotion, mobile convenience service, village medical care and so on. To put it bluntly, it is poverty alleviation work. The service targets are the poor and the needy. Volunteers are mainly students and temporary rescuers. To put it bluntly, the poor help the poor. What's the problem? Still-lack of money and people.
I simply divide human social strata into three layers: one is the poor, that is, the current local survival factors are higher than their abilities, and these people have to run for survival. What do they lack most? -Money.
The second layer is the well-off layer: that is, the sandwich cake layer. Their ability is higher than the current local survival index, but there is no need to worry about survival. Similar to house slaves and stock slaves, people need to provide for the elderly, children need to be raised, and future pension funds need to be prepared. What is their biggest feature? -Pressure
Finally, for the rich: they no longer work to survive. However, what do these people lack most? -Love
Ok, let's go back to the positioning of the volunteer alliance. The scope of activities of the volunteer alliance is still between poverty and poverty, and between poverty and well-off. Ignoring the rich class, don't the rich need help-care?
From the above social stratification, we can easily see that the poor and the rich are actually complementary. The poor lack money and the rich lack love. The key depends on how the volunteers' union can play a bridge role. (information and channels)
If this job is done well, I think it will be easy to deal with people with money.
For the well-off class, relieving pressure is the key. In fact, more communication is the easiest way to relieve stress, and volunteer trade unions should play a good guiding role. (Method and place)
After we have determined the focus and direction of our work, the next step is planning, planning and re-planning.
Planning is medium and long-term, planning is short-term, and planning is an action plan for planning and planning.
I haven't thought about these plans in detail. Isn't there an old saying? Not afraid of accidents, I am afraid I can't do it.
Any planning is inseparable from the final action. So action is the most substantial step.
I believe; In a team full of friendship, in a team agreed by * * *, as long as sincere and responsible, selfless dedication. Harmonious Guicheng, a harmonious world will be realized!
Thank you!
