What are the most common mistakes of wide-angle lens in photography and how to avoid them?

Wide-angle lenses are often misused or purchased for the wrong reasons. Many beginners bought a very good wide-angle lens, 50 mm (because someone recommended it) and a longer zoom lens. But the biggest mistake is not knowing how the wide-angle lens works, why it is needed, and under what circumstances.

First, the content in the image is too far away from the lens. To use a wide-angle lens correctly, you need to put the lens close to the subject.

Now look at the two pictures of bicycles below. The picture on the left is not attractive. When you get close to the picture on the right, your attention will shift to the bike.

You can't keep a low profile when shooting wide angle. To make your photos more interesting, you need more depth and perspective-you need to be closer to the subject. Try to find an object that is very close to the camera, other objects are at an average distance, and throw the background away. This will provide depth for your photos.
