This time, I chose a unique hutong route, away from the hustle and bustle of business, and showed the purest and truest side of old Beijing. It was a sunny day, and my friends and I set off from the Lama Temple by bike and embarked on this exciting journey.

At first, we crossed Wudaoying Hutong and wandered in narrow and antique alleys. Traditional residential buildings are preserved here, revealing the traces of time, and every place exudes the breath of history. Residents passing by bask in the sun in front of the door and talk to each other, which makes the whole block full of vitality.

We continued south into Fang Jia Hutong. The hutongs here are quieter, and there is almost no noise from tourists, as if they are in a world that goes back in time. Walking along the alley, you will arrive at Beiluoguxiang, which is bustling and full of fashion and literary atmosphere. Small shops and cafes with different styles are dotted on both sides, which adds unique charm to this hutong.

We continued to drive north, crossed Dongdaqiu Hutong, and finally came to Baochao Hutong. This is a quiet and pleasant place, surrounded by ancient trees, giving people a feeling of being far away from the hubbub. The architecture here keeps the traditional style, which makes people feel like they have gone back to the past.

During the whole riding process, we interacted with local residents and felt the deep human touch in hutong. This hutong route gave me a deeper understanding of the history and culture of old Beijing and left me precious memories.

Besides streets and alleys, there are many buildings worth seeing in hutong. The second book recommended by Ah Hu is suitable for appreciating architecture. This route includes Dongjiaominxiang, Central Gift and Cultural Relics Management Center, Xixinglong Street, Sanlihe and Dajiang Hutong, Yangmeizhu Xie Jie. These attractions include all kinds of architectural styles in Beijing, from western architecture to traditional houses, from streets to fashion shops. The following is an introduction to the route:

Dongjiaominxiang: Riding south from Wangfujing subway station, the charm of old Beijing is unique and charming, which makes people seem to have crossed the past years. In Dongjiaomin Lane, I found an old and quiet street. St. Mill's Church is the primary goal of my trip, and its Gothic architecture is amazing. Here, I feel the precipitation of history and the solemnity of religion. Next, I look forward to going to the former site of the Belgian Embassy, the former site of the French Post Office and the Court Museum. These buildings all show a strong European style, giving me a feeling of traveling through time and space.

Central Gift Cultural Relics Management Center: In the Central Gift Cultural Relics Management Center, I found a free treasure museum, which fascinated me with its rich and varied exhibits. This place can not only meet my cultural needs, but also be a good place to walk my baby.

Xixinglong Street: Turn right at the intersection of the Central Gift Center and arrive at Xixinglong Street, which is a charming street I stumbled across. There is a smell of fireworks here, which is refreshing. I enjoyed a cup of coffee in Shuisan and Fusan coffee shops and felt the unique charm of a street. Later, I took a stroll along Caochang Street, enjoying the scenery along the way, and finally arrived at Sanlihe Park and Dajiang Hutong.

Sanlihe and Dajiang Hutong: Turn left at the first intersection of Xinglong Street and reach Sanlihe Lake. In spring, Sanli River is gently blown by the spring breeze, giving people a sense of tranquility and comfort. I crossed Qingyun Hutong and Daxi Hutong and came to Dajiang Hutong, ending the exploration in this area. If time permits, I will also visit Fayuan Museum to learn more about Beijing's history and culture.

Xie Jie, Yangmeizhu: When I turned to the food street and came to Yangmeizhu Xie Jie, I felt like I was in a story. This is an alley full of charm and historical details, full of commercial atmosphere, but it makes people feel comfortable and warm. In addition, there are many charming hutongs here, such as Cha 'er Hutong and Mitsui Hutong, with different surprises hidden in every corner. And the deep hundred flowers garden makes me linger.

The charm of old Beijing makes me linger, and every corner exudes the breath of history and the charm of humanity. This trip made me feel more deeply the unique charm and precious cultural heritage of this city.
