Can you spray water on camellia leaves?
Raising camellia is a maintenance skill. The leaves are green and the flowers are full of branches.
How to change the potted camellia and how to maintain it?
Camellia potted plants are not strict with soil, and loose, breathable and fertile soil is better. You can use mountain mud or red soil, add some humus soil, pine needle soil and peat soil, and add a small amount of river sand for planting. Acidic soil will make camellia grow better. There is no need to use base fertilizer in soil. The bottom needs to be padded with stones, ceramsite and the like to promote drainage and ventilation.
To plant camellia, it is best to choose pots with good permeability and depth, crock pots, purple sand pots and plastic pots, neither too big nor too small. Plastic pots can also be used, and porcelain pots are used less, because the permeability and drainage of porcelain pots are poor, which is not conducive to the growth of camellia roots. Don't bask in the sun for the first ten days after transplanting into the pot, and gradually get light at the back.
For the potted camellia just brought back, it needs to be transplanted into a new pot, and some aspects need to be paid attention to, especially one point, which is also the key point related to whether the camellia can grow well in the later stage.
There is a little trick, that is, when transplanting camellia, especially in autumn and winter, don't prune the root system, let alone remove the soil above the root system, and keep part of the original soil for transplanting, because if you bring the original soil seeds, the buds and leaves behind will not fall off, and the potted plants will grow quickly. But remember not to transplant and change pots in hot weather and cold weather.
Tips for maintaining camellia
In the process of maintaining camellia in the later stage, you must not water it semi-dry and semi-wet. If you don't do it, water them thoroughly. But in winter, we must water less, keep the soil slightly dry, and then water it when the temperature is high on sunny days. Don't use cold water, use low-temperature water, or the leaves will freeze easily. If you want to spray water at ordinary times, you can only spray water when the leaves are healthy, shiny and bright.
Camellia that have just been transplanted and changed pots should not be watered too much or too often. After watering once, put it on the balcony where there is diffuse ventilation. If you water it too hard, the green leaves will fall and the roots will be difficult to grow.
The newly planted potted camellia must be placed in a place with ventilation and astigmatism when the branches and leaves are stretched, so that it can rest and change pots to adapt to the new planting environment and alleviate the discomfort in the adaptation process. At this time, it doesn't need water, and it doesn't need a lot of water, so it doesn't have to toss, watering for a while and fertilizing for a while.
Camellia has good cold tolerance. As long as the temperature is not lower than zero, we can survive the winter smoothly. The potted camellia planted in Xiaoya is also placed directly on the terrace every winter, so it doesn't matter if it snows a little. Now the camellia has begun to sprout, and it will be beautiful when it blooms.
