What is the "highlight method" in photography?

As the name implies, the collection method is a hodgepodge. It can be a collage of several photographic works into a new work through traditional darkroom or digital technology, or it can also be an image (photographic) work created through the creative techniques of many China art categories. At present, the recognized master of collection creation is the late Taiwan Province photographer Lang Jingshan. He reassembled many photographed works, such as stones, birds, pine trees and figures, in a darkroom to imitate the face of ancient landscape paintings and form new works. Another is to superimpose another kind of art work on a photo. Chen Fuli once asked some famous painters and calligraphers to create a batch of landscape photos he took, such as drawing a line of egrets in the sky part of the photos, or writing a poem in a certain position, similar to traditional landscape painting. Both of them are imitating traditional painting with photography. At present, there are many creative styles in collection methods, which are not limited to imitating painting, but also incorporate many new technologies. However, the collection method we are talking about here is still based on photographic works as the absolute subject, integrated with other creative techniques, and finally simulates another artistic work.
