What should I pay attention to when driving from Xining to Ta?
Because of the Ta 'er Temple, male and female visitors to the tower must wear pants to visit the scenic spots. Men are not allowed to enter in shorts, and women wearing long skirts or short skirts are not allowed to visit even if they are surrounded by clothes.
It's about 30 kilometers from Ta Erdao Temple in Xining. It only takes half an hour on weekdays, and the traffic volume on holidays increases sharply. Pay attention to slow down, be careful of the cattle and sheep on the road, and worship the Buddha devoutly.
Who has been to Hexi Corridor? Is it worth going?
Hexi Corridor is worth a visit. If the Hexi Corridor in Li Qian starts from Lanzhou, the first stop in road trip should be Wuwei. Scenic spots include Tiantai Mountain, desert park, Leitai Park, Leitai Temple and Han Tomb. Mata Yin Fei, a tourist symbol of our country, was unearthed here, which is worth visiting. The second stop is Zhangye City, where the world-famous colorful Danxia Geopark is the key punching point of Hexi Corridor. The third stop is Jiayuguan, and the Great Wall Tower is a must. If it is 5438+ 10 in the middle of June, you can also go to Jinta to see the golden ten thousand mu of Populus euphratica forest. The scenery is beautiful and charming. The fourth stop is Dunhuang and Mingsha Mountain in Crescent Spring. The most important scenic spot is Mogao Grottoes, commonly known as Ganfo Cave, which was built in the pre-Qin period. It is the place with the richest Buddhist art and culture in the world today and has been designated as a national key cultural relic protection unit. 1987 is listed as a world cultural heritage. In short, the cultural heritage of Hexi Corridor Scenic Area is far more than that. Welcome to Hexi Corridor. Thank you.
Hexi corridor, contracted the most beautiful scenery in the northwest, must drive in this life!
It is an exciting route, which can not only let you enjoy the striking beauty, but also let you feel the rich humanistic atmosphere of history ~
Hexi Corridor used to be the birthplace of the dream of a great country, the ancient battlefield of the Jin-Goma railway, and the desolate and vast frontier fortress in ancient poetry. Thousands of years ago, camel caravans were very long, and so were camel bells. The smooth overland Silk Road has also opened the big pattern of China's integration with the world.
Can you guess where this is? Photography @ Member Xinyi)
Nowadays, it attracts many lewd people to travel on the road, trying to open a magnificent Millennium epic, snow-capped mountains, grasslands, Gobi, deserts, flowers and Danxia landscapes.
1. Understand the Hexi Corridor, which is famous from Tianshan Mountain and western Gansu.
From the map, Gansu is long and narrow from east to west, with thick ends and thin middle, like a dumbbell going straight into the northwest. Hexi Corridor is located in the middle of the west of Dumbbell and looks like a corridor. It is also called Hexi Corridor because it is located in the west of the Yellow River.
(Cartography @ "China Self-driving Geography")
This corridor starts from Wushaoling in the east and ends at Xingxingxia Gorge on the border of Gan Xin in the west. It is a long and narrow belt, about 1200 km long and about 10 km wide. There are Ma Bing Mountain, Li He Mountain and Longshou Mountain in the north and Qilian Mountain in the south, which is like a barrier, almost running through the whole Hexi Corridor.
If Hexi Corridor is a heavy book, then Qilian Mountain is its preface. To understand Hexi Corridor, we must start from Qilian Mountain.
(Topographic map of Hexi Corridor, drawing @ "China Self-driving Geography")
Qilian Mountain lies between Gansu and Qinghai, stretching for thousands of miles. Tianshan Mountain is in the eyes of brave Huns. Wushaoling in the east and Altun Mountain in the west. It consists of many parallel northwest and southeast mountains and wide valley basins. The peak elevation is 4000-6000m, and the trough elevation is 3000-5000m. )
When we look around Qilian Mountain, you will find this area very interesting. -It is a very arid geographical area, with Gobi and Badain Jaran deserts in the north, arid Qaidam Basin in the south, Kumutage Desert in the west and Loess Plateau in the east.

Qilian Mountain, like a stroke of God, is a wet island, which brings infinite vitality to Hexi Corridor. There are 3066 glaciers in Qilian Mountain, with a total area of 2062 square kilometers. Like a huge solid reservoir, the meltwater from glaciers continuously flows from the mountains to the desert, nourishing the entire corridor oasis belt in this desperate situation.
At this point, the significance of Qilian Mountain in Gansu and even China has been very clear. As "Driving Geography of China" said: Without Qilian Mountain, the desert of Inner Mongolia Plateau would be connected with the desert of Qaidam Basin and reach the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and then there would be no Hexi Corridor and Silk Road, and there would be no communication channel between eastern and western civilizations.
Second, Hexi is a slash youth and will become a great man in Sri Lanka. Hexi lies between the Inner Mongolia Plateau and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, bordering the western regions in the west and the Central Plains in the east. It is the crossroads of the northwest, and its life is doomed to be extraordinary.
Thanks to the glacier meltwater irrigation in Qilian Mountain, the land in Hexi is rich in water plants and fertile soil, which attracts the nomadic people in the northwest such as Yue, Wusun, Saizhong and Xiongnu to thrive here, and the competition is fierce, making a geographical corridor a supranational corridor. There are no fewer than 40 ancient nationalities in and out of Hexi Corridor in history, some just pass by in a hurry, while others have established local governments.

Hexi Corridor, as the throat of the westbound Silk Road, has frequent economic and cultural exchanges between the East and the West, so it has become the main road for Buddhism to spread eastward. This is the area where Chinese mainland excavated Buddhist grottoes earlier. The whole corridor is covered with grottoes, which is simply a grotto corridor.
Speaking of grottoes, I believe you will blurt out Mogao Grottoes (Dunhuang), Yungang Grottoes (Datong) and Longmen Grottoes (Luoyang). In fact, the unknown Tiantai Mountain Grottoes in Wuwei is the initiator, and its excavation time is earlier than these three. This Tiantai Mountain Grottoes also has a story worth telling, so let's talk about it.

If you drive to Hexi Corridor in autumn, you will find that it is also a golden corridor, a famous cornfield in Hexi, where more than half of China's corn seeds come from. In addition, it is also the largest foreign seed production industrial base of vegetables, melons and flowers in China, accounting for 75% of American seed exports.
I can't believe it. Why is agriculture in Hexi Corridor with dry climate and less precipitation so developed?

In fact, Hexi Corridor in Li Qian is flat, benefiting from the nourishment of Qilian Mountain water system, with fertile soil, convenient water diversion and irrigation, relatively stable water quantity, abundant sunshine and large temperature difference between day and night, which is very beneficial to crop photosynthesis and material accumulation. Hexi has always been a big granary in history, which can not only meet military needs, but also mobilize a large amount of food for disaster relief when major natural disasters occur in the Central Plains.
From ethnic corridors, grotto corridors to golden corridors, there are many names. Hexi, you deserve to be the nature and culture of China Life Corridor.
Third, the natural and cultural landscape corridor, which integrates the beauty of heaven and earth, white clouds and pale dogs, and vicissitudes of life, is just a dull number in our eyes.
As far as Hexi Corridor is concerned, in the spring, summer, autumn and winter of 2000, countless stories stirred in this vast world and precipitated into this magnificent and heavy appearance, which made us fortunate to see the great legends written by countless people and the beautiful landscapes admired by countless people.
From Lanzhou (known as Jincheng County in ancient times, the fifth county in Hexi), it entered Wushaoling along the 3 12 national road, and then officially entered the Hexi Corridor. Wushaoling belongs to the southeast end of Lenglongling, the northern branch of Qilian Mountain, and is the first barrier for the Central Plains to enter Hexi area.

Wushaoling, as the gateway of Hexi Corridor, has always been a battleground for military strategists. After crossing Wushaoling along National Highway 3 12, the grand historical picture of Hexi slowly unfolded and met unexpectedly. The Great Wall of Haiming meets here and winds westward. After thousands of years of erosion, most rammed earth slabs have become soil ridges.
If you can still see the trenches or beacon towers in the Hexi Corridor, you need to use your rich imagination to travel through time and space in your imagination and return to the vicissitudes of your brave and passionate years.

Wuling Mountain, located in the south of Wuwei City, was named Wuwei. The meaning of praising Huo Qubing shows the great power of the Han Dynasty in developing the western regions.
Although Wuwei was not well-known among the four counties in Hexi, during the Han and Wei Dynasties, most of Gansu belonged to Liangzhou and belonged to the provincial level, and Wuwei was the provincial capital at that time. (Later, the name of Wuwei was once changed to Liangzhou by the ruler. )
During the Han and Tang Dynasties, it was the military and political center of northwest China, second only to Chang 'an, and it was the capital of Daliang in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and the early Tang Dynasty. For a long time, it was a gathering place for Chinese and foreign businessmen in international metropolises.
(Liangzhou in the Western Han Dynasty, one of the thirteen states (secretariat department), has a wide jurisdiction. Wuwei is just in the center of Liangzhou, the first county in Hexi, and the nearest to Chang 'an. Liangzhou is the capital of Liangzhou. Production @ "Hexi Corridor")
In the first year of Zhenguan (627), Master Xuanzang went west to learn the scriptures and once sighed, "This is where I live. The former brought western fans, onions spread all over the world, and business trips continued.
Wuwei, as an important town of the Silk Road, once became the Buddhist center in northern China. Here, we should mention two figures, one is Kumarajiva, a Buddhist master.
In 382 AD, Kumarajiva, a Buddhist master who was born in Kuqa (now Kuqa), was already famous in the Western Regions and even the Central Plains. He never imagined that this year, the battle of thousands of miles started because of him.
Kumarajiva, photography @VIP member, if there is love in the sky.
In order to rob Kumarajiva, Fu Jian of the former Qin Dynasty sent Lv Guang to attack Qiuci. Unexpectedly, on the way back to Korea, the battle of drowning in the sword failed. Lu Guang stayed in Wuwei to establish a cool country and was trapped in Kumarajiva 17 years in the form of near prison. In this way, Buddhism mistakenly transited Wuwei and spread widely to the East.
The other is the North Liang Guojun, who lives in Qu Mengxun. Influenced by Kumarajiva, he was a Buddhist before he made great achievements. In order to facilitate the monks to meditate, he sent Yao Tan, a monk, to lead craftsmen to build grottoes in Tiantai Mountain, one hundred miles south of Wuwei.
Therefore, an early model of Buddha-Liangzhou model was created in Dongjiang, which became the direct source of Yungang Grottoes and Longmen Grottoes.
(Tiantai Mountain Grottoes, the giant Buddha is built at the foot of the mountain, with blue waves rippling under its feet. 1958, in order to solve the problem of water shortage, Huangyanghe Reservoir was planned next to Tiantai Mountain Grottoes due to insufficient attention to historical sites at that time. If the beauty of Wuwei lies in the beauty of human nature, then the beauty of Zhangye is more rough and wild, and it can be said that it is a peerless beauty in Hexi Corridor.
After leaving Wuwei, take the G30 Expressway and cross Shandan County, Zhangye. 50 kilometers away from the county seat, there is a Shandan military horse farm. More than 2,000 years ago, Huo Qubing built a city to station troops and raise horses. It is the largest and oldest racecourse in the world at present.
Dan Jun Racecourse, from @ Hexi Corridor Documentary.
It is the most important landscape in the middle of Qilian Mountain. Here, you can ride a strong horse, your mind will ring, let us become the partners of the world of mortals and continue to live.
Shandan Racecourse is divided into five divisions: General Racecourse, First Racecourse, Second Racecourse, Third Racecourse and Fourth Racecourse. Generally speaking, tourists will go to the most beautiful places, where they can also enjoy a deep and wonderful canyon called Cave Canyon (Drawing @ Hexi Corridor).
Zhang Wei and Zhang Guo's arms and armpits bear high hopes from birth. He probably didn't expect that in a thousand years, he would walk around with colorful Danxia landform.
The beauty of Zhang Ye Danxia lies in a sense of contradiction and collision. Before seeing it with our own eyes, the mountains in our inherent thinking are monotonous. It is unimaginable that such a desolate and barren mountain has been endowed with the gorgeous color like oil painting.

The mountains and valleys are elegant. Every stroke is inadvertently left by nature. Maybe we don't know exactly how it came into being like geologists, but when we stand in front of it, it's just. It's like watching a 100 million-year-old man. He is silent, but with an ancient power, immersed in your heart and spleen, making you feel shocked for a long time.
Don't stop here for the beauty of Zhang Ye. The vast Danxia and Caiqiu landforms are located between Linze County and Yugur Autonomous County in the south of Suya.
Danxia, which is distributed in southern Jiangsu, is not as well-known as Danxia. The latter wins by color, while the former wins by shape. The biggest feature is Danxia, which is composed of contiguous pieces, just like a palace, an old castle and a window lattice. It is more worthy of the audience's deep thinking. Whether it is colorful Danxia or Danxia in the ice ditch, if you want to shoot their most beautiful appearance, you need to be in sunny or rainy dusk.

In addition to the beauty of the wilderness, Zhang Ye has a more grounded side. Luo Jialun, a poet of the Republic of China, sighed after visiting Zhangye: I want to see the snow in Qilian Mountain and mistake Ganzhou for Jiangnan.
Every July, 6,543.8+10,000 mu of rape flowers in Minle County, Zhangye, located at the northern foot of Qilian Mountain, enter the full bloom stage. The golden rape sea and the turquoise wheat field are interlaced, and they are colorful under the blue sky and white clouds. It is the pastoral scenery in the mountains, the double feelings of vision and smell, which makes people relaxed and happy.

Leaving Zhangye all the way to the west, we came to Jiayuguan, the famous first pass in the world, a rising city in the Gobi desert, and the starting point of the western end of the Great Wall in Wan Li in the Ming Dynasty.
Because it is at the intersection of the Great Wall culture and the Silk Road culture, it is also the first pass for the western regions to enter the Central Plains, which not only protects the safety of the northwest border, but also maintains the smooth flow of the Silk Road in the Ming Dynasty.
Jiayuguan attracts humanities lovers the most is the booming Great Wall culture. For outdoor sports enthusiasts, Jiayuguan gliding base in the northeast of the city is a good choice, overlooking the endless Gobi land from the perspective of an eagle.

Continue to the west and come to Dunhuang, and the Hexi Corridor will be over. Dunhuang and Jiuquan belonged to two counties in the Western Han Dynasty, and now they are under the jurisdiction of Jiuquan.
Today, Dunhuang is the most dazzling star in Hexi Corridor. Its exquisite grottoes, murals and painted sculptures attracted the attention of China and even the whole world, and the international Dunhuang studies was born! Dunhuang culture is profound. If Bian Xiao wins, don't talk about it here. However, the murals in Mogao Grottoes are still approachable, lovely and vivid, and the viewing threshold is low. After careful consideration, you can draw some interesting guesses!

Bodhisattva, very trendy.
Yes, you can't miss the strange scenery of Dunhuang sand mountains and springs. -The famous Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring!
Desert sand, camel bells. Loulan Hexi's footprint remains the same. Martial arts, sprinkle wine into the spring. Zhang Guo is clumsy and Dunhuang is magnificent.
200 kilometers, this will be a chaotic and dazzling cultural journey, with beautiful scenery and historical details of Qi Fei, and an absolute sense of experience.
If you want to know more about Hexi Corridor, Wall Crack recommends you to watch the documentary Hexi Corridor. The favorable rate is extremely high! I can. I can't wait to pack my bags and leave!
Then, if you have mo.
