This kind of space also makes people slow down unconsciously and merge into the embrace of nature.
The open living space presents indifferent and tranquil earth tones, and the minimalist furnishings minimize the clutter that disturbs the mind. The rattan, cotton and linen fabrics are retro handmade products from all over the world, and the texture is It reveals the atmosphere of returning to nature. The designer achieves this goal by abandoning the stereotype of hotels and creating an alternative hospitable space that makes guests feel like they are staying in a friend’s house, with a relaxed atmosphere. , and the luxurious service is meticulous and casual.
A central path leads to the dominant restaurant/beach club complex, creating a response between the building and the beach. This trail connects and serves the interior main pool area and the beach. A wooden balcony to the north overlooks the dunes and beach, providing plenty of shade on hot days.
The distribution of the housing and its austere cube-like appearance draw on the traditional architecture and urban planning of the Aegean Islands. The concept is combined with narrow paths that lead visitors to unexpected views, leading to exterior stairs and outdoor seating areas.
Retro furniture combined with rough natural textures and exotic objects gives the originally open space the right amount of warmth.
CASA COOK CHANIA
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the historic seaport city of Chania. On the ancient hillside, stacked architectural forms rise along the terrain, overlooking the original and passionate coastline of Crete. The blues of the Mediterranean become the most beautiful background. The long sandy beach and the ancient port meet here, making Casa Cook Chania a beautiful paradise under modernism.
