I'm in a bad mood recently and a little tired. I want to stay in the temple for a while. Is there a temple in Xi 'an that I can accept?
For example, meditation, chanting and worshipping Buddha can all be used to calm the mind.
I hope you will be happy.
Xi 'an Temple:
Grand Jeju: Located in the southern suburb of the ancient capital Xi, it was founded in the 22nd year of Zhenguan of Emperor Taizong (AD 648). It was built by Prince Li Zhi in the 22nd year of Zhenguan in Tang Dynasty (AD 648) to commemorate his mother, Empress Wende. It is the most famous and magnificent Buddhist temple in Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty. It was built by royal decree in Tang Dynasty. Tang Xuanzang once presided over the temple affairs here, led the Buddhist translation field and founded the Buddhist Sect. He personally supervised the construction of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the temple. Therefore, Dali Temple has a very prominent position in the history of Buddhism in China, and it has always been concerned at home and abroad.
Daxing Temple: Daxing Temple was built in the early Jin Dynasty, with a history of 1600 years. Indian monks such as Dharma Gupta once lived in the temple to translate scriptures. During the Kaiyuan period of Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, Indian monks, known as the "Three Masters of Kaiyuan", were timid and wise, but they had no time to teach tantric Buddhism in this temple, which became one of the three translation places of Buddhist scriptures in Chang 'an at that time and the birthplace of tantric Buddhism in China.
Ji Xiang Temple: Ji Xiang Temple was built in Yonglong, Tang Gaozong in the second year (68 1). There are two versions of its name. One is that there is fragrant weir water flowing into Chang 'an City next to the temples in the Tang Dynasty, and the other is from the Buddhist scripture "Tianzhu is a fragrant country, and the Buddha's name is fragrant." Zeng Zeng Temple in Litchi, Tang Gaozong, named Ji Xiang Temple, is supported by 1000 cultural relics and hundreds of flowers. Historically, Ji Xiang Temple has been destroyed and rebuilt many times, and now it is a key cultural relic protection unit in Shaanxi Province. There is a good Tang Dynasty guide tower in the temple, which was built in 680 AD. The tower is made of blue bricks, with a wall thickness of 2 meters and a square plane, which is a wood-like structure. The top of the tower has been damaged for many years, with eleven levels and a height of 33 meters (it is reported that it was originally thirteen levels). There are 12 saddle-shaped semi-naked ancient buddhas around the tower, which are exquisitely carved and are really treasures.
Zhenglong Temple: Zhenglong Temple was built in 582 in the second year of Emperor Wen of Sui, formerly known as "Inspiration Temple". The temple was abandoned in the fourth year of Tang Wude (62 1). Legend has it that Princess Chengyang fell ill in the second year of Longshuo (662), and Suzhou monks recited the Guanyin Sutra to pray for Buddha's blessing, and the princess really recovered. Therefore, the princess asked to become Kannonji again. In the second year, Jing Yun was renamed Seiryuji(7 1 1). Qingliu Temple is the place where Hui Guo, a master of Tantric Buddhism in Tang Dynasty, lived in Xi for a long time. Master Shi Huiguo, a famous Japanese monk studying abroad, was here and later became the founder of Shinrikyo in Japan. From 65438 to 0986, Seiryuji introduced more than 1000 cherry trees from Japan and planted them in monasteries. Every April and May, cherry blossoms are in full bloom and spring is colorful. Up to now, Qingliu Temple has attracted many Chinese and foreign tourists with its beautiful scenery.
Wolong Temple: Wolong Temple was called "Fu Ying Temple" in Sui Dynasty and "Kannonji" in Tang Dynasty, because the Guanyin statue painted here by Wu Daozi was preserved in the temple. During the years of Tang Yizong, Xian Tong (860) and Xuanzong Ganfu (874), there was a classic stone carving of Toronyi in the temple. In the early Song Dynasty, Guo Hui, a monk, entered the abbot of the temple and lay high all day. At that time, people called him "Wolong monk". In Song Taizong (976-997), Gengsi was named "Wolong Temple".
Xingjiao Temple: Located in the southern suburb of Xi, it is one of the eight temples in Fan Chuan in the Tang Dynasty. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, Xingjiao Temple was burned down because of the war, leaving only the pagodas of Xuanzang and his two disciples. Buildings such as Daxiong Hall and Tibetan Classics Building were rebuilt during the Republic of China.
Guangren Temple: Guangren Temple was founded in Kangxi 1703 in Qing Dynasty, and it is the only Tibetan Buddhist temple in Shaanxi Province. After the completion, living buddhas and lamas from Tibet, Mongolia, Qinghai and Gansu all stayed in the temple to pay their respects when passing through Shaanxi. Because Guangren Temple is a tantric sect of Tibetan Buddhism, the temple chants incantations in Tibetan. On October 24th and 25th of the lunar calendar, people will hold the Lantern Festival to commemorate the Taoist Festival in Zong Kaba. Good men and women flock to the temple, bells and drums are ringing, Bai Fan is ringing, lights are shining, cigarettes are lingering, and it's very lively.
Huayan Temple: Huayan Temple is one of the eight temples in Fan Chuan south of Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty. It is located on the half slope of Shaolingyuan, about 0/5km south of Xi 'an/Kloc, overlooking Fan Chuan. Huayan Temple is one of the ancestral halls of Huayan Sect of Buddhism in China. From the initial construction to the following hundreds of years, there are no records of any tall halls and buildings, only a carved cave to accommodate Buddha statues and monks. Huayan Temple is a typical cave temple on the Loess Plateau.
Jingyi Temple: Located on the Phoenix Mountain (also known as "Hou 'an Mountain") at the northern foot of Zhong Nanshan in Chang 'an County, Shaanxi Province, about 35 kilometers away from xi 'an, it is one of the national 142 key Buddhist temples in Han areas identified by the State Council. Ye Jing Temple was built at the end of Sui Dynasty. At the beginning of Tang Dynasty, it was the Dojo for monks to preach and practice great laws, so it became the birthplace of Buddhist legalists.
Xianyou Temple: Located in Heishuiyu, about 17km south of zhouzhi county, it is known as the Pearl of Heihe River. Xianyou Temple was originally the Xianyou Palace in Sui Dynasty, where Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty used to spend the summer. In the first year of Xian Tong in the Tang Dynasty (AD 860), it was changed to three temples, and there are two existing temples, separated by the banks of the Heihe River. There are anecdotal remains of literati in the past dynasties, including Ma Rong and Wang Bo in the Tang Dynasty, and Cen Can, Li Shangyin and Zhu Qingyu, masters of Confucian classics in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. In particular, Bai Juyi, a famous poet, once wrote a long poem "Song of Eternal Sorrow" with the love story of Li Longji and Yang Yuhuan as the theme, which became the eternal swan song handed down from generation to generation.
