It is the first time in Tibet to put forward the viewpoint that Tibetan highland barley has high β -glucan content, nutritional and health care functions and deep processing, and organize related projects to promote the development of Tibetan highland barley industry. Initiated and presided over the joint sequencing of highland barley genome, and constructed the first whole genome map of highland barley in the world, which laid the foundation for functional genomics research and molecular improvement of highland barley.
