Wonderful highlights of the suicide note left for tomorrow

· The Yokohama District Court where Okada was tried has been moved and restored, and it is completely possible to film in this historical building. However, the film crew did not do this. Because the court area there is only 70 square meters (1 square meter is approximately equal to 3.3 square meters), the place is too small to leave a sufficient distance between the camera and the actors. In order to shoot powerful scenes, the film crew used the largest studio in Japan with an area of ??400 square meters (Kurosawa Akira used this studio when filming "Ran"). The art team faithfully reproduced the entire court scene at the time in the studio. The spacious space allows photographers to arrange the camera position as they wish.

· One of the film’s cinematographers is Akira Kurosawa’s old partner Masaharu Ueda. Usually only one camera is used for filming a movie, but in this film, three cameras were often operated at the same time. The camera crew led by Ueda uses solid technology to fully demonstrate Kurosawa's majestic style.

· The film opens with a series of ten-minute clips of real air raid footage. These include the Japanese bombing of Nanjing and Chongqing, the German and Soviet attacks on Poland, the Tokyo air raid, the Nagoya air raid, and so on. Assistant director Naoto Sakai spent three months collecting information, and specially borrowed information films and news tapes from relevant US departments, American Broadcasting Corporation and CBS TV station. After carefully examining 150 minutes of footage, the title sequence was made.
