Painting majors include: oil painting, traditional Chinese painting, decorative painting, calligraphy, sculpture and so on. , pure art. The future work direction also includes being an art teacher. Or lucky paintings can open a gallery to sell paintings or something. It is not impossible to become a famous painter, nor is it impossible to sell 10 million words or leave 1000 records. Maybe the next Van Gogh will be you.

If you don't plan to sit in the studio with a brush all your life, or draw something from ear clippings, there is a design major to choose from: visual communication (graphic design). Environmental art design (including landscape, interior, garden, etc., some schools are separated), animation, toy design, fashion design, photography and so on. These majors are more targeted and have greater career choices. But you should also be prepared to stay in front of the computer all your life. The most important thing is to see your creativity and design ability.
