Investigation and analysis on the current situation of basketball in middle schools in Wuxi: the route and method of scientific basic research on the source of topic selection.

Middle school basketball is one of the training methods for teenagers in China and an important means of quality education for middle school students. This paper investigates and analyzes basketball teachers, venues, arrangement of basketball textbooks in physical education class, after-school basketball training in physical education class, middle school students' participation in basketball activities, after-school basketball training, middle school basketball competitions and extracurricular activities, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Keywords: current situation of basketball activities in middle schools 1. Quality education puts forward new requirements for modern physical education. In order to ensure the smooth progress of quality education reform, school physical education theorists theoretically expounded the development direction, goal and breakthrough point of school physical education: quality education as the direction, lifelong physical education as the main goal, physical education as the breakthrough point, physical education teaching mode and curriculum reform as the content. This puts forward higher requirements for basketball workers in our school. How to make students learn knowledge and master sports skills easily and happily, and how to carry out basketball activities well after class are all things that school basketball workers should think about. 2. Research object and method 2. 1 Research object: 2. 1. 1 Eight middle schools in Zhonglou District, Tianning District and Xinbei District of Changzhou City. 2. 1.2 There are 4 middle school PE teachers, 4 full-time teachers and cadres in charge of middle school PE in each district. 2.2 research methods: 2.2. 1 questionnaire survey: 4 12 students and PE teachers were investigated by questionnaire to obtain basic information. 2.2.2 Interview survey: Interview with some full-time cadres, leaders and school basketball workers in charge of middle school physical education in Changzhou. 3. Result Analysis 3. 1 Current Situation of Basketball Activities in Middle Schools 3. 1 Basketball Teachers and Facilities in Some Districts of Changzhou (Table 1) Table 1 Teachers in Zhonglou District, Tianning District, Basketball Court and Xinbei District: The average number of basketball teachers in basketball courts (pieces) and the proportion of basketball teachers in middle schools (%). According to the facilities in basketball field, there are 79 studios in middle schools in three districts, and the average studio area of each middle school (about 2. 19 studios) is about 1 person, and there are even fewer experienced teachers engaged in basketball training. Obviously, there is a big gap. This makes it impossible to carry out basketball activities (including training) in a considerable number of middle schools because of the lack of basketball teachers. Due to the weak basketball teachers and the shortage of some school venues (basketball courts), basketball activities are difficult to carry out. 3. 1.2 Arrangement of Basketball Textbooks for Middle Schools in physical education class Through the investigation of eight middle schools in Zhonglou District, Tianning District and Xinbei District, it is found that physical education class in two middle schools has no basketball textbooks, while physical education class in six middle schools has basketball teaching, among which three middle schools have arranged basketball teaching in the middle school physical education syllabus, and physical education class in three middle schools has completed some basketball contents in the syllabus. The basketball textbooks of physical education class in these six middle schools, junior high school as an elective textbook and senior high school as an elective textbook. It has teaching plan, content, progress, class hour ratio and so on. Changzhou No.2 Middle School has its own textbooks. Physical education class in middle schools is conducted in classes, with a large number of students (about 50 in each class), small space (usually a basketball court) and less equipment. A considerable number of textbooks can't be implemented and teachers can't manage them. Schools that teach basketball according to the syllabus mainly teach some skills such as dribbling, passing and catching, shooting in situ, breakthrough, dribbling and layup, and there are cases where junior high school and senior high school teach the same textbook. Some difficult combination techniques and some tactics, such as jump shot, one-handed shooting, rebounding, defensive techniques, offensive and defensive techniques and tactics, are only carried out in a few schools with good venues, and classes are divided (two teachers in one class). 3. 1.3 middle school students' participation in basketball activities A survey of four students in Changzhou 16 middle school and 1 vocational school shows that there are 204 students who like basketball activities very much (149) and love basketball activities (55), accounting for the students surveyed. Frequently participated (168 people) and participated in activities (70 people), accounting for 57.7% of the survey. Judging from the activity time, there are 105 people who have been active for more than 2 hours per week, accounting for 25.4% of the students surveyed. According to the investigation of PE teachers in Chonglou, Tianning and Xinbei districts and the discussion of full-time PE cadres in middle schools, it is considered that middle school students are generally interested in basketball activities and have a high enthusiasm for participation. The age of the participants is from grade two to grade three, and there are many basketball players in this age group. From the perspective of gender, boys prefer it, while girls are slightly worse. 3. 1.4 The investigation results of extracurricular basketball training in middle schools show that there are 4 male teams and no female teams in 8 middle schools. Two middle schools train 3-4 times a week, accounting for 25%; Two middle schools train 1-2 times a week, accounting for 25%; Two middle schools, accounting for 25%, temporarily teamed up to cope with the competition; Two middle schools have no school teams (because there are no professional coaches), accounting for 25%. To sum up, there are generally basketball courts in No.8 Middle School. Many schools, such as Changzhou No.2 Middle School, have four standard courts, and some have two basketball courts. The main reason why there is no basketball team is the problem of basketball professional coaches. There are stable coaches in No.4 Middle School, so there is basically no fixed basketball team (men's team); But there are two middle schools without professional coaches, which leads to their lack of basketball teams. Basketball training, both middle schools are temporary teams to cope with various competitions. Some of them participated in pre-competition training 1-2 times, while others did not train at all. Once the team was organized, they directly participated in the competition. In No.8 Middle School (men's team), two schools train 3-4 times a week. Most of them are traditional schools, with regular training competitions, full-time coaches and training plans, guaranteed venues and equipment, and normal attendance of players. There are also two middle schools with full-time coaches, but they belong to the general school team, which is quite random. 3. 1.5 Basketball Match and Extracurricular Activities in Middle Schools According to the survey and statistics, basketball is the main event (3 events) and the secondary event (2 events), accounting for 62.5%. Only 1 schools (12.5%) sometimes arrange and sometimes do not. The development of middle school basketball competition is very uneven. According to a random survey of six middle schools (mainly Bell Tower and Tianning), three middle schools organize a school-wide competition every year; There are two middle schools that hold a school-wide competition every semester; There are 1 middle schools that do not organize school-wide basketball games; Two middle schools often organize small and varied basketball activities in extracurricular activities. According to the investigation of extracurricular competition activities of middle schools in Paris, Tianning and Xinbei District, only 1 middle schools in Tianning District organize basketball leagues of all grades every year, because there are many students and few venues. Only three middle schools in Xinbei District organize a school-wide competition every year. The development of basketball competition in Zhonglou District is OK. Every year, a school-wide basketball league for middle school students is organized, but there are not many teams participating, and each school signs up for 3-4. 3.2 Factors Affecting the Development of Basketball in Middle Schools From the survey of 8 middle schools 14 PE teachers, Table 2 shows the factors affecting the development of basketball in middle schools. Factors: Students attach importance to learning tasks, leaders don't support their parents, students don't like sports, teachers' enthusiasm is not high, and the proportion of insufficient venue equipment is (%) 70.1%42.8% 42.8% 7.1%57% 65448. %28.5% The main factor affecting the development of basketball in middle schools is that students have heavy learning tasks and can't spare time (70.1%); School leaders did not support it (42.8%); Parents do not support (42.8%); Students dislike it (7.1%); Insufficient sports funds (57%); Teachers' enthusiasm is not high (14.2%); Basketball courts are short of equipment (28.5%). The cadres in charge of middle school physical education in Zhonglou District and Tianning District believe that there are many factors that affect the activities. The first one is that students are too burdened with learning and make up lessons, so they can't spare time to participate in activities, especially in the third and third grades. Teachers in Zhonglou District also believe that due to the increasingly fierce examinations in various schools, parents have intensified their efforts to ask tutors to make up lessons and never let their children participate in basketball activities. Teachers in Xinbei District think it is mainly the difficulty of the venue. As long as there are venues and equipment, it is not a big problem to use some funds. 4. Countermeasures for developing basketball activities in the future 4. 1 Raise awareness, update concepts, and handle the relationship between learning and participating in basketball activities. 4.2 From the middle school leaders, class teachers, physical education teachers and students themselves, we should realize that taking part in basketball or other sports activities can promote students' intellectual development and improve their academic performance, and arrange their time reasonably to promote and improve each other. Among them, the key lies in the attention of middle school leaders. 4.3 Fully mobilize the enthusiasm of middle school physical education teachers, solve the difficulties in carrying out basketball activities, give full play to their organizational and guiding roles, and hold various backbone training courses (such as organizing competitions, basketball referees, basketball instructors, etc.). ) to carry out basketball activities, and to ensure the needs of carrying out basketball activities from the business. 4.4 Strengthen the construction of middle school venues and equipment allocation 4.5 Strengthen teacher training and improve the quality of physical education teachers. 4.6 All districts and counties develop traditional or key basketball schools, and relevant departments of cities, districts and counties give various supports. We can combine sports (with sports schools) to carry out regular basketball training and vigorously cultivate outstanding basketball talents. 5.
