Bashan Reservoir in Yishui

? On November 18th of the lunar calendar, I took my son to attend a classmate's wedding in Wujiawa, Yishui County. During the wedding break, my son and I discussed to experience the local customs, catch up with the small market and visit the supermarkets in the town. After shopping for half an hour, I feel really bored. As soon as I discuss it, I want to visit the nearest tourist attractions.

Wujiawa is about 9 kilometers away from the county seat. Because almost all the scenic spots in the county have been there, I chose the Bashan Reservoir nearby. Speaking of it, I have often heard adults say in my ear since I was a child. In my impression, Bashan Reservoir is a relatively large reservoir. I don't know how big it is, but there will be many people going fishing and swimming. Last year, it was reported in the news that paleolithic tools from 30,000 to 50,000 years ago were found in the lower reaches of Bashan Reservoir, which is rare in Shandong and even the whole country! I told my son what I heard, which aroused my son's great interest in finding fossils in the reservoir, so I arranged it immediately!

15 minute drive to Bashan Reservoir. When I got off the bus, the beautiful scenery came into view in an instant. It's really beautiful. Because it's a little cloudy today, standing on the lake near the dam is like being in a paradise. Bashan Reservoir is located in the northwest of Yishui County 15km, which is a large mountain reservoir mainly for flood control irrigation and comprehensive utilization of power generation, aquaculture and tourism. It is the third largest reservoir in Shandong Province and is known as "Yimeng Mother Lake". The local landscape and children's entertainment facilities are well maintained, so there is no need to buy tickets for visiting and parking fees for parking. It is a good place for a weekend holiday.

After climbing over a hill, my son began to look for fossils crazily. Instead of finding fossils, he found some flints. The flints here are different from those in other places. They are all relatively large. The son said happily, "Turn off the lights at night and you will see sparks." The happiness of children is as simple as that. I'm a little reluctant to leave and look forward to seeing you next time.
