The custom of enjoying osmanthus in Mid-Autumn Festival

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, which is a full moon and family reunion festival. When you open the window in the morning, you can smell the fragrance of osmanthus. In the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival in China, every family eats moon cakes, enjoys the moon and enjoys osmanthus. There is a touching story of "the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon, WU GANG holding osmanthus wine" in the book Fairy Tales of China that I have read.

Today is cloudy, and the round moon may not be seen at night, so several of our good friends made an appointment to take moon cakes and fruits and go to Hangzhou Children's Park with their parents to enjoy osmanthus.

As soon as I entered the park, my eyes were full of osmanthus. We play by the stream, hide and seek in the tea garden, and play bumper cars, pirate boats, excavators and swings in the park. The fragrance of osmanthus is constantly drifting around us, and it feels like being in a paradise.

Hangzhou Children's Park also has a name-Manlong Guiyu Park. Osmanthus fragrans is the city flower of Hangzhou. Manjuelong is the place where osmanthus trees have been planted the most and osmanthus flowers have blossomed the most since the Ming Dynasty. Every Mid-Autumn Festival, the valley is filled with the fragrance of osmanthus. The breeze blows and the flowers fall like rain, so it is called "full of rain in Gui Long" and one of the "New Ten Scenes" of Hangzhou West Lake.

Today, when we are in the park, whether we play games or have a rest and eat moon cakes, we can all see osmanthus in full bloom. Some are golden yellow, some are yellowish, and some are a little green. The fragrance of flowers is refreshing, and we are all intoxicated with the thick fragrance of flowers.

After dinner, on the way home, we saw the round moon sticking out of the thick clouds and smiling. Smelling the flowers under the osmanthus trees in the community, eating moon cakes and looking at the moon, my heart is warm.
