The photographer who took the photos of Chinese World War II veterans in Times Square in the United States came to Xinjiang...
On the 71st anniversary of the victory of World War II, Chinese veterans of World War II who fought together have once again gone global.
The pictures of many veterans above this large advertisement were all taken by one person, and he is Li Chunfeng.
Li Chunfeng, a national senior photographer, has been involved in the glamorous fashion circle for a long time.
Such a person should be dazzling, but Li Chunfeng has embarked on a unique path.
Photographing veterans is actually a coincidence. Occasionally, he saw a post from a veteran on the Tianya Forum. He was a veteran of the Anti-Japanese War. He was a hero in the first half of his life, but a destitute in the second half of his life. This strong contrast touched his heart.
From 2012 to the present, Li Chunfeng has traveled to China, Myanmar, Thailand and other Asian countries to search for Chinese World War II veterans. Among them, his footprints in China are all over Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Shanghai, Beijing, Hebei, Shandong, Heilongjiang, Henan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other places. He has traveled almost all over China and visited 1,000 people. Many veterans have recorded profound stories.
What is commendable is that Li Chunfeng completed each photo shoot at his own expense. After taking the photos, he handed over the electronic version to local volunteers, developed them, and gave them to veterans. Some organizations asked him for photos, and he provided them free of charge as long as they were for public welfare.
Li Chunfeng claims to be a craftsman who lacks business but has more than enough for charity.
Two years ago, out of recognition of values, volunteer Li Jie joined Li Chunfeng on his trip to photograph veterans, helping him realize his wish of "spring fills China to photograph veterans, and travels around the world to comfort heroes."
Now, he and his assistant photographer Li Jie came to Xinjiang and began to photograph anti-war veterans living in Xinjiang, leaving precious images for the veterans.
The following photos were taken by Li Chunfeng and his assistant photographer Mr. Li Jie of anti-war veterans living in Xinjiang. Among them, the photographer’s work scenes were taken by Xinjiang volunteers who care for anti-war veterans. Please note when citing Ming photographer.
Currently, filming is still in progress...
More blockbusters will be presented in sequence.
