The TV series Red is set in Shanghai, which became an island after the war between Shanghai and Song Dynasty. With the wonderful performances of Edward Zhang, Hong Tao and Zhou Yiwei, this TV series has become a good one that has been passed down from mouth to mouth. Different from ordinary anti-Japanese dramas, Red focuses on the life experiences and growth of several people during the occupied war years in Shanghai.
