SLR cameras do not have a dustproof function. Will they prevent dust from getting into the camera without changing the lens?

SLR cameras cannot prevent dust from entering without changing the lens.

1. The reason is that the camera itself, the lens, the camera and the lens are not completely sealed. Many moving parts of the camera itself, such as the shutter and some adjustment buttons, have gaps; the zoom ring and focus of the lens There are also gaps in the ring and the interface between the lens and the camera, and dust can get in through these gaps, so even if you don't change the lens, dust can still get in. . I used to have a quasi-SLR camera, and I never changed the lens, but over time there was still dust inside.

2. Of course, changing the lens will definitely increase the chance of dust entering. It is best not to change the lens when the environment is harsh (such as wind and sand, rain), otherwise dust and water vapor can easily enter. Every time you go out to shoot, it is best to plan what you want to shoot, bring the necessary lenses, and try to change lenses as little as possible outside.

3. In order to meet the shooting requirements, one way is to use a zoom lens, which can cover more focal lengths; the other way is to bring an extra camera with different lenses. I usually use two cameras when I go out for more important shooting, one with a 24-70 lens and one with a 70-200 lens. I try not to change lenses outside. Although this method is a bit heavy to carry, the conversion is faster when shooting. Most professional photographers generally use this method.

4. However, dust entering the camera and lens is not the end of the world. Generally, small dust can be blown away with an air blower. If there is too much dust that cannot be removed by yourself, you can find a professional repair shop to remove the dust.
